JFK Private Studio Apartment

Clean and beautiful

Easy to find and door lock code easy to use, very close to metro. Used an uber to go there at 11 pm and a metro to get back to JFK airport. A/c work well, have to use the remote not the wall settings.

Great instructions, relatively speaking close to airport, we did an early check in, everything was ready to go

The only downside- the apartment is in the basement, and the bed is right below the entrance/living room/ staircase- so lots of foot traffic until around 1 am

Place was enough for our family and 1.5 day stay. Public transport Access to downtown, uptown is good and close to studio apartment. Grocery store is nearby.

Adequate utensils not provided which is one of the primary reason to book apartment. Basic grocery like salt was also not present. Floor was sticky when we arrived. Gas not working properly.

I was very pleasantly surprised with the unit. It is clean, well equipped, well laid out and very nicely located for an overnight layover at JFK.

Good self-checkin, convenient to get to/from JFK airport, very comfortable, quiet despite some loud music nearby.

Very convenient location

The place was so so so dirty....as in, hair all over the bathroom, kitchen had food leftovers in the fridge and the outside of the fridge was dirty. The duvet on the bed had no cover. The owner ended up sending the cleaners back in, but obviously they didn't do any better job (and we were expected to leave in the middle of our stay). There was a dirty rug left in the kitchen and dirty scrub daddies...we just refused to touch anything in that kitchen. The bed was remade...with another duvet that didn't have a cover on it. The AC is bad and it was too warm over night. The unit above is a rental as well I believe, and was super loud most of the night. Once we requested a partial refund from booking (because we had to clean the bathroom ourselves amongst other things) the owner just refused to engage. Awful stay for the money we paid. Would NOT recommend.
