JFK Private Studio Apartment

The location is great, easy access to public transportation. The host gave us a big favor to check-in very early and allowed additional guests. The room is clean and amenities are complete. Easy access with door code and wifi is excellent. We felt at home and safe during our stay. Hope we can stay there again when we come back to New York.

For some reason, all the lights were turned on at about 12:30 am. Since it was a basement apartment, I guess there was a light switch upstairs. It was very disturbing. Also, the description of the property did not include the fact that it was a basement apartment. The photo indicated it was part of a house but not the basement of the house.

Very close proximity to airport public transport

The 3rd person had to sleep on an extra hard sofa bed not ideal as the main bed was extremely comfortable.

Very clean and convenient from JFK. Easy to get in. Bed was comfortable.

Missing some essentials like facecloths, hand towel, and most importantly a top sheet. Can hear owners walking around above you (this is a basement apartment)

Couldn't figure out how to use heater device as there were no directions. FYI, I very much dislike this type of temp control. Device control is not self explanatory and I have had trouble using others that are same or similar. Presumptuous to think that they are easy to utilize! We got chilled during our stay. .

This place is perfect for as single traveler. But if you need peace and quite to sleep . This place isnt for you . It was Memorial Day weekend maybe this was why it was so noise here . First night the neighbors had a party with loud music until almost 4am . Also you can hear them walking and talking upstairs. This apartment is in a modify basement . Then the next night they had people over and hear them talking and walking and playing music until 3am . I had an early flight in the morning so pretty much got no sleep that night . Beside that it was good for the price. Uber eats was very convenient and fast . I order at 1am the first night. But in general the place has everything you need and would be a great place to stay if it wasnt a party weekend.

Read above .To me they had no concern for the person below them . Dont rent out an apartment if your going to have people over and play music until the wee hours of the night . I would definitely ask for a refund ifor one night because of the disrespect of knowing there is someone bottom them and they making all kinds of noise .. So pissed as I write this at 230am because I can't sleep . Are the night went on the louder they got . Again no consideration for the people paying money to get sleep here which I will get none tonight . This is also my first bad review I had to write in a very long time . Finally at 330am they start to quite down . So I may get 2 hours sleep before my flight . Awsome !!

It was in an excellent location and the apartment was very clean and detail oriented. They even had condiments in case we forgot anything
