We weren’t allowed to go in when we arrive at the condo and they said it’s occupied already. Which is weird ‘cause we booked it on that day.

Kind staff, good location, rooms were very clean and well kept, good TV, bed was comfy nice breakfast.

Nothing

1.They made us wait an extra hour before checking in because they were still cleaning the room. There was no communication. Just told to wait after long trip. Kept in the dark about what was going on. 2. Required 2000 deposit to be made in CASH ONLY! Most hotels do a credit card hold. This later made it difficult to get the money back at checkout. Though the owner was nice enough to accommodate a checkout 30 min early, , her representative was late returning it. (same person responsible for cleaning the rooms). 3. Advertised as deluxe room with SEASIDE view. But absolutely NO VIEW. outside widow was the wall of next building. 4. Bathroom not clean. Mold all over grout. 5. only 2 bath towels no other towels, no soaps . 6. Door lock not very secure. Just a basic handle. No deadbolt or chain.

PROXIMITY TO US EMBASSY

WE WERE SHORT ON TOWELS, HOUSEKEEPING SUPPLIED MORE. NO TOILETRIES AS ADVERTISED IN BOOKING EXCEPT FOR A TOOTHBRUSH. NO SOAP, SHAMPOO, CONDITIONER, DISH SOAP, ONLY ONE DRINKING CUP, NO INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN ON HOW TO ENTER THE ROOMS LOCK AND NO INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO OPERATE TELEVISION. MICROWAVE NEEDED CLEANED. WATER DISPENSER RAN OUT AND HAD NO WAY TO REFILL.

I think there is confusion for the reviews here. There might be different apartments. Mine was 2404, a small studio, everything was perfect, clean, quiet(which is most important for me), there was a gym that I used, the location is perfect right on the center of Mania, and there is a shopping center nearby. For cooking you have some tools but don't expect anything fancy. Good internet and AC, located at high floor so away from street noise. You have a toilet paper and no soap, but this you can just buy downstairs. And everything was super super clean, the bed very comfortable.

Watch out for the side of the bed, you will hit it, the room is small, and the leg is made from wood, I think it should be covered with something.

Location was fine

No TV, No plumbing to washing machine, Cockroach infestation ,limited cooking facilities, no microwave or oven. Loose floor tiles .

No good. Too many cockroaches, broken shower and other problems.

We arrived at 4am following a delayed flight. The smell was truly dreadful. There were cockroaches in the bathroom area and near the bin. Our "living room " was a small space with a filthy chair / single sofa bed, a fridge and a microwave. The shower did not drain and the bathroom flooded. One bedroom was open to all this- there was a screen but it did not work. We messaged the proprietor asking for a different apartment the next day. The telephone contact was in China and unreachable. When we got hold of the person in charge the next day he was gormless. He kept saying he could get someone to kill the cockroaches later but refused to discuss any of the other issues. He told us that if we checked out we could have a refund of the 2 remaining days. We found another place as this flat was so disgusting. Booking.com say they can do nothing as the owner is refusing a refund and said I should write an honest review to warn others! 😡. This is unacceptable and made me go through and check all my bookings looking at the lowest scoring reviews. As a result I have changed several. The bad ones get hidden at the end. Also properties can claim they have views, balconies etc which they do not have. Do not trust the descriptions.

Hospitality

The place made us feel like it's our home. The owner is very accommodating and assisted her guest very well.
