Ardmore Shepherd's Hut

The hut was clean and very spacious and in great condition, the location was very quiet and pretty.I liked the shower. Sourdough bread was provided along with homemade musli, milk and chocolates. Unfortunately there could have been a bit more butter only one little tablet each and nothing was provided for the second day.

The bed was not ideal because you had to climb over your partner if you were sleeping against the wall. The only hot water was the shower

Nothing, great place

We loved the coziness of the hut! There was a basket when we entered that was full of goodies such as homemade bread and it was lovely! There was also a jar of oatmeal which was great. My partner and I loved the view out of the hut and even saw some deer.

Nicht billig aber idyllisch gelegen, mit viel Liebe zum Detail super schön eingerichtet und ausgestattet. Zur Begrüßung fand ich ein sehr leckeres selbst gebackenes Brot, Müsli, Milch und Kapseln für die Lavazza-Maschine vor. Man kann wunderbar draußen sitzen.

Da gibt es nichts, außer dass sich die Tür von innen nicht abschließen ließ, bei der einsamen Lage aber nicht wichtig. Man sollte mit Lebensmitteln ausgestattet sein, die nächste Möglichkeit, irgendetwas zu bekommen ist ca 5 km entfernt.

The hut was very well cared for, clean and comfortable. Appliances were very high spec. Loved the homemade bread, jam and granola. Bed very comfy. Garden fauna and flora a bonus.

Great for a night or two. No hanging space - it is a shepherd hut after all - so have to live out of your suitcase stored under the bed. Guess you could dry wet gear in the owners shed if needed.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The hut has been beautifully decorated with great attention to detail and high quality furnishings. The home made bread and muesli were lovely unexpected touches (and delicious!) Thank you!
