Do yourself a favour and book this place! We met Jo when we arrived, who was very kind, and when we went inside the Hut I was speechless. The photos look amazing but it's even better in person, when you see the homemade sourdough bread and granola that they leave for you (that was probably the best part, it made me so happy and it was delicious!). Great appliances too (Kitchen Aid and Smeg!). Super cosy inside, even when cold outside. Beautiful, beautiful decor! This is how you host people. I have high standards and I have to say they were met. As a guest you feel taken care of and like everything has been thought of for your comfort. I loved this place and I'll probably think about it very often!!

I can honestly say the Ardmore Shepherd's Hut was the nicest place we've ever had the pleasure of staying at. From the moment we arrived, we could feel the care and attention to detail that makes this place so special. Isobel was incredibly accommodating, allowing us to check in at 12pm which made our travel day so much easier and more relaxed. A thoughtful and generous welcome basket was waiting for us, filled with delicious, homemade goodies. The jar of homemade muesli and a fresh loaf of sourdough bread (with butter already in the fridge!) were perfect for breakfast. The two cans of rhubarb gin & tonic were a fantastic and unique touch, and we also enjoyed the chocolate bars, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and milk. It's these personal touches that truly set the experience apart. The hut itself was a cosy and perfect retreat. We were surprised and delighted to find it even had a TV, which was a great little bonus! Everything was clean, comfortable, and clearly designed to feel like a home away from home. The beautiful garden setting added another layer of magic to our stay. With thoughtfully placed upper and lower seating areas, we could follow the sun throughout the day - enjoying the afternoon sun in one spot and then moving to catch the late afternoon rays in another. It's this kind of thoughtful design that makes the experience truly special. It's clear that the owner put their heart into this shepherd's hut. The warmth and hospitality we felt were unmatched, and it's a testament to their passion for creating a welcoming environment. I would highly recommend the Ardmore Shepherd's Hut to anyone looking for a peaceful and unforgettable retreat.

Fantastic welcome basket (milk, homemade bread & jam, biscuits), facilities were clean, kitchenette items looked brand new, comfy king-sized mattress. All essentials. Great space for moving bags out of way under bed. The finish of woodwork in hut was exceptional. Cosy. Saw deer & owls every day. Hosts on site are super helpful.

Loved everything. However, people booking need to understand space in Hut is limited!! Also, midges were around when we stayed so we couldn't use beautiful garden as much as we wanted. Unless you like walking, car pretty essential to get to local town or coast.
