Large, comfortable room. Decent pub grub, staff were friendly.

The meals are excellent and plenty

The beds not very comfortable, I couldn’t sleep as the bed was too hard

Ideal location for visiting family. Friendly staff comfortable bed with decent pillows good size room and ensuite. Clean, plug sockets in all the right places for phone charging and hair straighteners. Tea and coffee making in the room with fresh milk to keep in the mini fridge. The lighting in the room was excellent with good ceiling lights and bedside lamps. Often hotel rooms have very poor lighting so this was a bonus.Dinner in the restaurant area was good and plentiful with good friendly service. Overall good value for money and will certainly stay again. Plenty of parking and although on a main road it was very quiet. Good free WiFi

The room was perfectly clean and functional. The bed really comfortable. Overall, the decor is a bit run down and we found the shower a bit sad. My Dad had room 6 and it had a very strong smell of stale smoke. On arrival all windows were wide open, presumably to mask it. But by the morning it was unbearable. Had we not been leaving anyway we would have had to request another room. My sister and I had room 1 which was clean, fresh and comfortable. The breakfast was fine, although slightly limited. Some fresh fruit and yoghurt would have been great, and the option of brown bread for toast. Otherwise the cooking was great and the waitress really friendly. Good value overall and was everything we needed. Appreciated the tea and coffee in the room and the little fridge. Very helpful.

Food was very good

Room was very cold on arrival, didn’t really warm up for several hours. Shower switched from hot to cold almost every 5 seconds and the toilet seat was very loose needed replacing.

The hotel was bigger and better and although we had booked a small double room, it was much nicer and larger than we expected with a great sized bathroom. The food was good with good portions and the staff were friendly.
