Serendipity ~ Romantic Hideaway in Ambleside

Great location - the view is exceptional. Peaceful area with ample parking. The space in the property is perfect for a short stay.

The TVs didn’t work properly. Property advertised as having bathroom products included, however the bottles of shampoo were empty and there was no soap or shower gel. Nothing to clean kitchen with despite stating kitchen roll and cleaning products also provided. These were both only an inconvenience as we did not bring our own (we usually do) so nothing that impacted our stay.

Property have a homely cosy feel to it. It was nicely decorated and we had everything we needed including little extras - additional bedding, extra loo roll, condiments in the cupboards Nicely located in a short walk to the centre . Beautiful views , lovely and light and airy feel. Bed was extremely comfortable - mattress, bedding quality. We had a great sleep and felt very cosy. Nice to have a tv in each room and plenty of seating. The little extra touches made it feel very welcoming and homely. Hosts communication was great, quick to reply to messages and very helpful.

What an incredible view and such a cozy, sweet little apartment. The bed was comfortable, apartment was clean, warm, and had everything you needed for a night away. I wish we had more time to book for longer. It was also a gift to have a car parking space available in such a busy town. Car parking was a little narrow for larger, modern cars, particularly if you had a large car next to you - but just needs care.

A lot of thought has gone into this apartment and it shows so don't want to sound negative.... but, you could do with a light outside the front door so you can open the lockbox and front door more easily (very minor and a phone light got there in the end). The lovely 'bee' clock in the living room needs a new battery.

Smell of the drains in bathroom, bathroom itself could do with a little update but didn’t effect us greatly and would happily book again!

The apartment was well placed, stylish, well equipped, clean, smelt lovely and was very comfortable. Lovely view of the town below. Would highly recommend.
