The accommodation was very comfortable and well appointed. It was conveniently located to Belfast. The host made sure everything met our needs.

The appartment was superb clean and everything you need bar staff amazing customers so friendly and helpful a pub with amazing history and a super pint of harp

Couldn’t fault it

I am sorry but we did NOT enjoy our stay at all. Nothing was enjoyable about the premises. The entire place smelt of dampness. and cannabis being smoked at night. Glad we only spent a few hours here and left soon as possible in the morning.

All of the furniture and items in the property were so mismatched and appeared to have been sourced from charity shops or recycling centre. The decor was extremely tired ( Navy Blue Painted woodchip paper !!!! There was no parking available on arrival. The property is above a pub that was open until after midnight with patrons still singing what sounded like careoke and shouting until 2.30am. The very strong smell of cannabis (weed) being smoked drifted from the bar into the accommodation. Whilst in the ' Bedroom' all that could be heard was the bar staff throwing empty bottles into a bin and the constant shouting of drunken / high patrons of the bar . Patrons of the bar could look into the downstairs lounge whilst drinking outside. The car park was full and the owner being informed of the issue stated we could use her Aunts driveway nearby wherever that may be !!! There was no hot water either upstairs or down so had to boil the kettle to enable to wash !!! The stairs appeared to be in a state of collapse as when you stood on them they were flexing. All light switches were of different styles/ patterns and positioned in obscure places. There is corroded pipework on the stairs. Ok it is over a bar but lacks any form of sound proofing so trying to get any sleep is horrendous. Sorry but the whole place needs gutting and in need of a severe makeover and is unsuitable unless you like cannabis are deaf and do not want to sleep.

Spacious and clean.

Unfortunately when we saw our accommodation, the location left a lot to be desired. Very awkward parking, but most importantly, poor noise isolation. The pub was jam-packed and therefore, there was A LOT of noise. We were too tired to put up with it and left without staying the night. For that price, we were expecting a lot more for the money.
