"Great apartment, terrible lock with faulty latch mechanism."

Very spacious apartment, nicely decorated, plenty of bathrooms.

The door has a latch where its possible to close the door and it be locked from the inside. Unfortunately this happened to us and we were locked out of the apartment until 5am. It sounded like this has happened to previous guests too. I recommend you invest in a better lock, you should not be able to close a door when the latch is on, or at least turning the key should open it. We had to kick the door down to get in (as recommended by the apartment owner/manager)

Very spacious, clean and comfortable. Location brilliant for a short break in Edinburgh with excellent bus routes right outside if you don’t want to walk the 20mins to the Royal Mile
