Frida's Cottage Whitby

So much attention to detail, a jewel in the Whitby Crown. Very well located and had everything and more to offer….for family stay or for friends. Quirky cosy and quaint. I kept getting surprised by every nook and cranny. Thank you for making it memorable.

Convenient, comfortable and cosy

The colours and quirkiness were outstanding. Nice breakfast selection and milk on hand for a cuppa. Good selection of board games to keep you entertained and a fabulous view of the abbey from the upstairs games room. Ideal location

The stairs, but it’s an old cottage and to be expected. However I would highlight not suitable for the more elderly or if you are not steady on your feet

Great location, close to all Whitby has to offer, good sized cottage. Breakfast selection wag great, could have done with a bit more coffee though.

The heating was controlled from a padlocked cupboard and it was a bit cold when we stayed. Proper curtains are needed in the living room and the "trip hazard rugs" need removing from the bedroom.

Very comfortable and quirky.

The hill up to it and getting up to the top bedroom by the stairs but we knew that before we got there. We got a fright from the noise from the bathroom of you flush the toilet and then wash your hands. You have to wait for the toilet to fill up before you wash your hands but that’s a minor plumbing issue and it does tell you on the mirror but we didn’t see it too after 😂

We loved the bright colours and quirky feel. The cottage was very comfortable and in the centre of Whitby.
