The Stable at Thornlea

The property was built to a high spec and was equipped with everything you could need. The wood stove was wonderful as it got chilly at night. Although the radiators worked too, there’s nothing like a fire!

The only complaint we had was the sofa was a bit lumpy. Plus the annexe was very difficult to find even using the sat nav postcode. Once we were there we programmed the car and then we were ok finding the annexe. However saying that it is in a beautiful area and the local village was very lovely!

The property is spacious, cosy and comfortable. Everything is fresh and modern - especially the kitchen and bathroom. The location is stunning… even a rainy Saturday afternoon was a joy curling up with a book in the reading nook. Dalwood village is only a 15 min stroll down quiet lanes - visit Dalwood Vineyard for a great afternoon!

Nice property, beautifully renovated, nice kitchen, clean, well stocked with pots, pans, utensils etc Good shower, comfy bed.

Blind broken in reading nook so no view/early morning light in bedroom/no lie in! (owner said he was planning to get it fixed). Lots of single track roads (lots of reversing) around the property and a tight turn onto the yard, to test my driving skills. Dogs let loose in yard/pile of dog p** next to my car. None of this spoiled my stay though :)

Nothing, it had everything you need

Spacious, clean and modern annexe which was bright and airy. Had everything we needed. Would stay again if visiting the area
