Food was horrible. Same old menu everyday.

The place is a bit dated and lacking some atmosphere.

Peter our was lovely. The staff were good and the food was good Great value and the Dogs were an added bonus and came on walks with us.

If being critical beds a little hard

Super peaceful location out in the country, tidy huts neatly spaced in the garden area connected by paths. Room was very spacious with good size bathroom, very clean and tidy with plenty of plugs and very comfortable bed. Nice porch area so you can sit outside have a drink and enjoy the tranquility. Was a nice breakfast area, perfect for a very relaxing start to the day and helpful staff. Cute cat and dogs to keep you company as well.

Didnt like the very bright security light in the middle of the garden, and the shower could have been a little hotter.

The breakfasy was wonderful, the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The host Purity is a wonderful host, will surely visit this establishment again. The place was so queit and Seren

All was well

Up to my former expectations. I stayed fir a writing retreat in 2002 and it has the same simple comforts and genuine hospitality. Purity's chicken curry is to die for! The bar has recently been redecorated and the roaring central fire is great. It's a very tranquil setting and super chilled out. Purity and Rose go the extra mile cook and provide. I managed to proof read the book I wrote there last year and the wi-fi was good

The delicious bloody Mary lacked Tobasco but I got profuse apologies and a dash of Scotch Bonnet instead. No marks deducted!

Nice hut to stay in and lovely fire lit at night. Friendly staff.

The toilet was very dirty and discussing. Also where you could sit around the fire was very dark which made it feel miserable.
