The Great Circle Lodge

Nice garden, and nice bar with open fire. Good food en tasteful huts with 2 and 4 beds. Near Mt.Kenya.

Nothing. They called me on the check in day just before I arrived to tell me they had run out of space.

I booked for a stay at the Great circle Lodge and got a confirmation that they had space available. In the day I was to arrive, while I was on my way. They called me to say that they no longer had room and I should find another place to stay. They explained that this was because they are on Booking.com and Airbnb as well and some people had booked through the Airbnb app and they gave them priority over my booking. I could have been stranded, had I not been quick enough to book another place to stay as soon as possible. I think this shows greed on the management of the Lodge. It was also very inconsiderate to call me and ask me to find another place to stay on the day I wad to check in.

Very nice and quite place in the nature.

Needed to pay extra for using the kitchen.

I was equally surprised to be charged breakfast most places breakfast is in the accommodation. 9I had to pay more for breakfast
