Die Unterkunft liegt im wunderschönen, kleinen Städtchen Castelmola mit Blick auf den Etna. Nach einer kurvenreichen Fahrt hat uns Georgio - Albertos Papa herzlich in Empfang genommen und uns eine Führung durch das Städtchen gegeben. Die Unterkunft ist super sauber und hat alles was man braucht. Ich kann diese auf alle Fälle weiterempfehlen.

Alberto is one of the best host that I had, he even made us a tour in the village. About the property, it’s perfect if you want to relax and feel the Sicilian vibe.

If you have two people and wish to stay longer, the room size might not be enough.

Alberto was most helpful, met us to show us round, swapped apartments to a more suitable one for us, and gave us some great local info. The place was spotless and everything was easy to use, and Mount Etna really delivered, snow capped and smoking in a clear blue sky (following our arrival the previous evening in a rainstorm!) Castelmola is a lovely wee town, close enough to walk to Taormina (but get the bus back up the very steep hill), small and peaceful but with a couple of very interesting bars and restaurants, and a wee shop for all your essentials, as well as some selling quite nice artisanal stuff.

The apartment had no gentle lighting, maybe some don't mind but we like low lighting in the evening. The cleaning products had a chemical smell, again might not bother some folk but we are sensitive to these things.

In my opinion, it is the best accommodation in Castelmola. Everything was clean, especially the view was the best, and the host was very attentive to the guests' needs.
