Prachtig gelegen. Een zwemmeertje erbij. Het kan niet beter. Huisje is praktisch ingericht. Alles in één ruimte.

Badkamer netjes, maar als tip: hier en daar een haakje voor kleding of een handdoek.

"Poor value for money, not well looked after and damp"

3.0

The hot water was very temperamental and only gave enough water for one shower The cottage was damp and so was the bedding so we left a day early Lots of cobwebs around, not very clean Poor signage to get there and grass on the parking area so high it was questionable whether it was the parking bay Taxi numbers didn't work

"A really nice well equipped bolt hole."

Black out curtains/blinds would help at this time of year especially. Apologies but managed to get pen on the duvet cover. If it can’t be washed out I’d be happy to reimburse directly. 07710 207163

"A very pleasant stay in this Bijou Cottage surrounded by lots of nature in a quintessential English garden in a quiet vi"

8.0

Lovely setting next to a beautiful wild swim pool in a quintessential English garden, the cottage was a lovely base for a quiet relaxing stay, not too far from Aldeburgh and Woodbridge etc A lovely comfortable bed made for a great nights sleep.

The floor was a little rough underfoot being bare brick and the curtains were missing the finials, however this was not detrimental to our break. There seemed to be a lot of flies entering the cottage so we ensured to keep the doors closed. fortunately the cottage remained very cool in what was an extremely hot bank holiday weekend. A small table and chairs outside would’ve been perfect to enjoy breakfast in the sunshine.

"Isolated, quiet, adorable"

9.0

Of course it is a stunning location and delightfully and tastefully decorated throughout the property. Although just two rooms, it feels so cosy and spacious at the same time. Everything has been well thought through and the wet shower room has a heated towl rail to add to the beauty. We loved the flooring - although I have seen others don't like the lack of grouting between the tiles. Bring slippers for sure! It is an isolated but beautiful building by a pond, down a tiny lane and quiet. It never compromises on comfort and we would be back in a heartbeat. The kitchen was well equipped with all you need. Just one major thing to fix!

The flippin' WiFi! During the whole of our time there we could not get it to work and I ended up hotspotting form my phone. The owner was away and the management company supplied a wireless dongle - but it just did not work - well it took an age to load anything and then stopped - and there was no WiFi of the name given that EVER showed up on the system. I know we are in the countryside, but I had phone signal - what on earth was going on? This has put us foo returning - not because we are wedded to the internet, but being self employed we need to be available for clients and indeed I had a new enquiry while we were there and had to hotspot in order to deal with it. This was the only thing which was a problem and if it is not a deal breaker for you, ignore this review! Meanwhile, we paid for something we didn't get!

"We had a good stay."

7.0

The location is very tranquil and the accommodation was ideal for the two of us. We found it very relaxing to return to after a day out and pretty central for the area that we were visiting.

This didn't detract from our stay at all, but I would add a couple of hooks for tea towels and a drip tray under the plate rack to help protect the worktop. Also a couple of towel hooks in the bathroom and the wardrobe is too full of stuff to use easily. But nothing I didn't like!
