Azaya Beach Resort Goa

We had 2 rooms One will with pool The pool was dirty Ac has someseettinit never goes below 23 The tub in the room started leaking n the whole room turned into a puddle. Not just we most of the customers used to cone with some of the other complain. Sone had rats in their room.. Water was dirty in tub n sink I think booking. Com should personally visit this property. N then remove it from the list.

We had a fairly turbulent experience with this hotel. The AC in our room did not work, we asked 3 times for someone to inspect it and no-one attended. Finally the hotel staff reluctantly offered us another room which at first seemed like a good solution but sadly this room was dirty, and in a general state of disrepair. The same could be said for most of the hotel to be honest. We returned to our original room as it was late at night and wanted desperately to have a shower, we waited 15 minutes for hot water to start running through the showers and then each time you needed hot water. This hotel is priced the same as other 5* hotels in the South Goa area, and that is about as much in common as it has with the likes of Caravela and Taj exotica. With the exception of the maintenance team (who were very sympathetic and helpful), the rest of the resort staff gave us the impression that we were not worth their time or effort; which was upsetting. The food at the hotel was good, at least.

The staff are very slow. Didn’t understand our requests and laundry took 2 days. You wait half an hour to pay a bill at reception. Our room was not cleaned.

-The location of the property was amazing. It was a beach attached property with all required amenities. -The room we were put up was spacious. -The staff were courteous and ever helpful. -The breakfast spread was amazing. -Ample of secured parking space. -The property was well guarded by Security who made a note (at any hour of the day) of incoming and outgoing vehicles.

- Though the property was amazing, the place is falling apart. The Tap works, plumbing works are falling apart. - There was a rat trap put up in the room which we did not know till one rat escaped on the last morning. Hence, the room is infested with pests. This isn't acceptable for a property which calls itself as well as lists itself as a 5* property. - The Kitchen and Restaurant staff weren't able to handle a full occupancy. No cutlery, no napkins, no glasses was available when the dining room was full with guests. - The swimming pool's timing was 6 am - 8pm. However, there were no pool lights once it got dark, hence discouraging guests to visit the pool once it got dark. - There were instances when there was no water at the property due to a break in their pipelines. -Guest Relations Manager wasn't available on Sundays or Holidays so that we could discuss our concerns or feedback with them personally - Extremely overpriced for the facility and maintenance of the property

Struggling staff First day no water Second day no towel for entire day. We had to use our own hand towel to bathe our kid Basic amenities are not kept up to date Not worth the money
