The location and the beach

Rooms not clean, not checked before assigning rooms to guests, food taste bad and overpriced

The property is beautiful. It's made up of villas with multiple rooms per villa. The property is clean, friendly staff, clean amenities in common areas, amazing beach, and good breakfast. Our kids were able to enjoy their amenities such as table tennis, pool, jenga, and common pool. Our premium 'villa' had a spacious room, wet bar, good amount of space, massive bathroom, and decent outdoor space. The breakfast is really tasty and few items change on a daily basis. On our checkout day, we had asked for breakfast boxes to be prepared by 7am and they had it ready on time which really helped speed up our checkout and commute.

Our 'premium villa with private pool' is a 'premium room with private pool', the villa is not exclusive to us and hence I find this false advertising. The first day, room was not cleaned well, had to remove frogs from room, saw and complained about a rat in our room, dirty pool that was not cleaned for a few days, DTH was not subscribed to, and service took too long. The biggest problem was the time staff takes to do things once we bring it to their attention. My kids were stuck in the bathroom for 30 min with a rat roaming around and we complained twice over phone and once in person for someone to come in. They were unable to find the rat by the time they arrived and setup a few traps but had to call them again to find that a grill was missing for one of the pipes and had them install it. Again, 3 separate calls across 1.5 hours to get pool cleaning to happen. We were 4 people checked in and they had 2 towels in the room, getting 2 more took till after our dinner was done and we asked for it again. The DTH box hardly worked. It complained about bad weather (even though weather was amazing) and when it worked, hardly any channels were subscribed to. The bathtub had dirty water flowing, we requested the staff to fix this next day during cleaning and they failed to do so. The photo attached is on the 2nd day after we gave them a chance to fix things. During breakfast, similar pattern follows: Once we are shown to table, the staff should be setting up 4 of everything but we ended up asking for cutlery, napkins, glasses of water, etc every single day as they were always short. Wrong orders kept showing up to our table, some items were forgotten, and at the end we ended up going to the buffet and wait for our order to get it ourselves. Overall, The staff is super friendly but fall short on service and need to be trained more.

Cleanliness not gud . Not worth the rate they quoting. Service very slow not a 5* property .

Location near the beach and swimming pool

Run down in rooms and exterior areas. Decking on pool area dangerous.

Breakfast.... Food was excellent

Service levels for the upkeep of the rooms were low .... Ac not working properly, issue of hot water and muddy water in the taps

Access to the beach Pool cleanliness Staff - very friendly and cooperative. They let us warm food from previous night restaurant visit for lunch the next day for kids … while we were chilling in the pool. Breakfast selection Room service did small tricks for kids with their decoration

Room floor was always a bit sandy Swimming pool tiles were coming off sometimes posing a danger of small injury.

Whilst the room itself was somewhat tired and in need of renovation (hats off to the photographer, they look stunning online...not quite the same standard when you're in it!) however; that aside everything else was wonderful, especially the ever helpful and friendly staff. The bed was comfy, and the bed sheets were great quality. The pool was long enough to do laps, the breakfast buffet was outstanding, and the library was a lovely quiet spot to get a bit of work done. Being only September, the beach was deserted, which we loved.

After the first day we were happy to be given a beach umbrella so we can read in the shade, listening to the ocean. Sadly, the spa facilities were not available as it was a holiday weekend. And our bathroom sink took an eternity to drain! There was a wooden "table" by the bath, which I shifted as it was directly in front of the toilet room door. This left soggy decaying wood behind in it's path...unfortunately the cleaning crew put it back each day, which meant this process had to be repeated each day, which was unsightly.
