Ortigia Porta del Mare

Driving on to the island was a challenge. Our host met us...and had arrange parking for our car. He made it easy.

The apartment is spacious and clean, it has everything you need and more. The location is perfect, everything is within a walking distance. Our host Antonio was more than helpful, he drove us from the bus station to the apartment, helped with the suitcases and later gave us a ride back to the bus station. Thank you Antonio!

Tout etait parfait

The location was great, right in the centre with a shop nearby and a great choice of places to eat. A spacious apartment with a small terrace where you could sit out.

Location is great. Spacious and sunny unit. Well equipped kitchen, excellent linens. Kind Antonio picked us up at station on arrival. Great extra service.

Second bathroom is very tiny, has no shelves and only cold water in sink. Lock to door of unit is a bit tricky. Some more pillows for chairs would be great.

L'emplacement, le calme, la petite terrasse, les hôtes sont fantastiques et étaient là pour nous acceuillir et assurer un bon début de séjour.

Excellent apartment very well situated in Ortygia. . Warmand comfortable with hot water and a nice big TV and couch for viewing. Able to perform own laundry if necessary. Two toilets and very good bathroom. Antonio was really helpful and met us then dropped us off on arrival and departure at the bus terminus

IIt is on the 2nd floor so there are 30 Marble steps to get there but I am sure this would be ok for most people

Fantastisk beliggenhet i Ortigia, kort vei til restauranter og sjøen. Antonio et en veldig hyggelig vert som hjalp oss både med handling før sen ankomst og stilte opp da vi låste oss ute fra leiligheten sent en kveld (selv om han måtte kjøre halvannen time hver vei) Leiligheten var flott med uteplass, 2 store soverom, spisestue og TV stue.

Det ene badet er kun et toalett med kaldt vann i springen

As 2 older women travelling with heavy luggage, we need not have been concerned about getting our stuff up tp this apartment. Thru WhatsApp, Antonio arranged to meet us at a nearby cafe, help with our bags and guide us to the apartment. He was punctual and very kind, as was his strong friend, Tony. Antonio helped us get settled, turn on the hot water, etc. He recommended a great place for pizza! He was clearly and deservedly proud of the apartment's amenities, comfort and location. We, too, loved the central location and appreciated being able to return to a comfortable "home" amidst the bustle of this ancient, lively town. As we were leaving, Antonio gave us the adaptor we'd been using for a computer as our adaptor didn't fit the skinny version of some European outlets. What a great guy!

Nothing could have been better. The location was superb, a stones throw from a great coffee place, Profumi e sapori, and a great restaurant, Clandestine. We loved the shopping, and the food all over town. We had a very enjoyable boat trip to the caves and swam in warm, turquoise waters in late September.
