The Lodge at Highlands

Clean, modern and thoughtful touches left to enjoy!

Everything was really clean and cozy. There was a big storm outside at the time but inside was super warm and quiet which was nice and the owners were extremely helpful and accommodating. The bathroom is massive and really good! And a nice kitchen too and bedroom too very comfortable.

Quite location, secure parking, clean and comfortable (bed was exceptionally comfortable), outside area to relax, good WiFi .

Slight confusion exactly where the Lodge was on the property when we first arrived (behind the main house) as no one was around, a message to the owner (who responded quickly), and the issue was sorted.

Fabulous property with incredible hosts who go the extra mile for their guests.

The location and the house surroundings were stunning, It has exceeded our expectations. We were very sad to have stayed so short! The bathroom was modern and specious, beautifully designed, bedroom had very comfortable and large bed. My daughter loved the fairy lights outside at the terrace, so we sat with blankets late at night and enjoyed the quiet time. In the morning we went to say hi to the horse who also lives at the estate, and 2 resident black cats came to say hi as we parked on arrival. We aim to visit again and stay longer next time.

Extremely quiet and comfortable stay. The treats and breakfast foods were stocked daily and were a nice touch for our stay. Apartment is large and well equipped.

No Breakfast which we knew was the case, self contained so we brought some croissants and Jam, was left some milk in the fridge and some biscuits etc. was really nice to get out Heads down, watch a movie, middle of nowhere which was nice, grounds were nice would of like to explore a bit more, but it was lovely, owners were lovely, there’s a horse there, bed was super comfy, walk in shower, big bath, lovely bathroom, nice and quiet, owners were great around check in and check out❤️

The Sofa wasn’t that comfy when watching the TV, but that’s me being fussy, also only one sun lounger which meant we couldn’t both relax together, would liked if we could of gone for a walk in the woods, felt a bit restricted but again that’s me being me, it was everything we expected for what we wanted and we had a lovely time.

Really well equipped, comfortable and peaceful. The owners had obviously thought what needs people staying might have and there were some great touches to make the stay more special.
