The Lodge at Highlands

It was a lovely location. Everything was carefully thought through. The kitchen was very well stocked and the furnishings were of a very high standard. The owner was welcoming and generous with provisions.

Great, clean place. Very peaceful. Lovely horse, warm pool, friendly cats!

Cottage was very comfortable and clean.

The farm was quite untidy and didn’t make a good first impression.

Clean, comfortable, cosy and quiet. Friendly welcome and "tour" of the Lodge. Well equipped and had all that was needed. WIll be very happy to visit again.

Lovely lodge for using as a base. Well presented, lovely comfy bed. Huge bathroom with bath big enough for 2 & a walk in shower as well. Fiona & John were excellent hosts & we will be back.

Nothing to dislike. Perfectly sized & everything you could need for a few nights away if you need somewhere lovely to stay around the area.

I like the style. Is easy to see the owners are passionated with this beautiful property. They put lots of hard work to get it on the right level. As a previous bnb cleaner I would like to give not 5 stars but 50 stars. Absolutely pristine condition. Highly recommended for people like me who like to go out of London and have a feeling of real village site.

Beautiful accomodation, everything we needed was there.. Fiona met us and explained how everything worked but also written info inside Lodge . Lovely and warm and comfortable. Will definitely book again.
