The Kenmuir Arms Hotel

Spacious room and en-suite, extremely clean, powerful shower, lovely tea and coffee making facilities in the room, massive comfortable bed. Food was amazing, had dinner in the evening and breakfast in the morning, very good quality produce with home made beans and black pudding on the full Scottish, eggs Benedict was beautiful.

nothing everything was great - other than a rude family that arrived in the restaurant and didn't like the fact there was no menu and they made a bit of a stink which was not necessary the chef and owner I believe his name is Chris bent over backwards to help them and the just up and left which was rude

Absoutley lovely rooms, really tastefully decorated, spacious, and comfortable. Good room facilities with dressing table, coffee machine and hairdryer, all the things you need. Lovely view over the river, too. This is for sure a food destination, we had the bar menu, which was fantastic, but if we can again, we would love to do the tasting menu. The staff were lovley and friendly. Parking was easy out the front. Very good breakfast. Highly recommended this place.

Very minor things and personal taste/needs, the bed was on the hard side and maybe a memory topper would be a nice addition. There is a green light on the ceiling which stays on all night, its quite bright but I understand its a safety feature. The doors below are fire doors but it does mean every time they close they slam which is very noisy and frequent, totally fine when not in the room and obviously stopped when all left but if there were a way to take out the slam it would be a big help.
