The hotel was very quiet being in a small rural village. The evening meal and breakfast were excellent with very helpful staff. The location suited us as we were catching the ferry from CairnRyan 20 minutes away.

Luckily I called to make sure my reservation was good, only to find out that it was no longer a pet friendly hotel as they had changed hands. I was unable to attend the festival that I had bought tickets as there were no rooms etc available that were able to accommodate my dog and I. This was extremely disappointing for a few reasons one being that I was unable to meet up with friends who travelled Ireland. Not sure who was responsible for the misinformation but hoping that it will not happen again if I book through this site.

Excellent food.Arrived at restaurant closing time but chef took the trouble to pull a vegan option together for us. Entire premises recently refurbished to a high standard

The food was excellent fine dining, the staff couldn't do enough for us and the hotel was excellent.

About 20 flies in the room as windows were left open - didn't spoil the stay

Beautiful location, so peaceful, and the food in the restaurant, including breakfast, was outstanding

Beautiful decor, newly done. Spacious room very clean Everything you could need. Staff very hospitable Food very good although if you like very plain food may be wise to check menus online or ring ahead and let them know. Very good value for money, would definitely recommend
