Bab El-Silsileh Hostel

I had a wonderful stay at this hostel. The location is perfect — just a short walk from all the main attractions. The owner is incredibly kind, helpful, and truly hospitable. He even upgraded me to a single room although I had originally booked a bed in a hostel dorm. Breakfast and coffee are included, and the owner was always offering me coffee or tea with a smile. I initially booked for 3 days but ended up extending my stay for 2 more because I enjoyed it so much. It’s honestly the best place you can get for the price you pay. Thank you so much for such warm hospitality - I will come back for sure! Thank you very much for such a great experience!

Excellent location , very hospitable staff (they gave food on arrival and coffee when I came to collect my things after lunch the next day). Slap bang in the Old City, an authentic feel to the property, good shared bathroom and good value for money. They gave me a single room as an upgrade instead of a dormitory room bed which was very kind and let me store my bicycle indoors and looked after it the following day. Not your usual hostel, a limited self-catering kitchen with kettle, microwave and sink and limited communal area (a few seats in the entrance corridor for socialising and a small outdoor covered area with around 4 seats and a perch table). Breakfast was filled sandwich rolls, eggs and coffee/tea which was fine. Great for an overnight start and highly convenient !

Very authentic atmosphere and just 300m from the Western wall hostel owned by the local family. Best coffee with cardamon that I’ve tried in Jerusalem. Owner was so kind that provided single room, even I booked the bed in hostel.

It is the best place to stay in Jerusalem in terms of value for money, with a very tasty and authentic Arabic breakfast, comfortable facilities, and a location just seconds away from our blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque... I can't wait to return! 🍉 التجربة كانت رائعة. منذ اللحظة الأولى، قدم لي الطاقم كل المساعدة التي احتجتها وأكثر، كانوا لطيفين جدًا وكريمين. إنه أفضل مكان للنزول في القدس من حيث العلاقة بين الجودة والسعر، مع فطور عربي لذيذ وأصيل، ومرافق مريحة، وموقع على بعد ثوانٍ من مسجدنا المبارك الأقصى... أنا متشوقة للعودة
