Rooms at Haslar Marina

Great room with lovely large bed. Nice and newly decorated. Very clean with all the facilities expected including kettle and coffee machine together with tea and coffee. Quiet and warm and a great shower. Perfect for a rest before driving the rest of the way home from ferry. Free car parking next to the accommodation. Whoever designed these rooms put a lot of thought into it. The attention to detail is to be commended.

There needs to be more light around the car park and the Marina Office as we arrived after dark and it was difficult to see where to go to book-in. Also, there needs to be a sign at the entrance or close to the Marina Office (or on the Marina Office) saying 'Rooms at Hasler Marina'. We were not sure if we were in the right place until going in to ask. The pillows were a little too hard and unforgiving. We ended up going to the car in the middle of the night to retrieve our own which we had brought with us. Lastly, there needs to be a dedicated electrical socket for the kettle.

Location was great for our requirements. Parking was free. 24 hour manned reception.

The television in our room did not work properly as no stations could be accessed. The radiator was set at 70 degrees which was too warm overnight. We did not realise we could have switched it off at the wall.
