Self catering but short walk away from super pubs and restaurants. Everything needed was provided, all good quality. Really comfortable bed ( didn’t have my usual hip pain in the mornings!) lovely sun trap private garden. Hosts are great, friendly and really helpful.

The stairs have a slight overhang so have to ‘twist and turn’ not a problem for me at only 5’2” but 6’ husband misjudged it a couple of times! Ouch 🤕! Soon got the knack though!

It was absolutely delightful. Beautiful decor, beautiful garden, beautiful hosts. A few minutes walk to the local amenities and a few minutes drive to the most beautiful beaches!

Overall property comfortable and clean and Wendy provided extra little touches to enhance your stay.

I felt the stairs needed a handrail especially to descend the staircase which was quite narrow and fairly steep. As a quite agile retired couple we even found it rather difficult to negotiate. It might be useful to add an access statement to give visitors an informed choice. This is not a criticism of the property but an important suggestion which could potentially save someone who missed their step or tripped ascending or descending the stairs.

The pictures really don’t do this place justice, it’s beautiful inside and really well thought out to the smallest detail. Every little touch is considered - you could turn up with a spare pair of pants and a toothbrush and need nothing else. The flowers in the bedroom were a lovely thought. It is spotlessly clean and a fantastic location just set back from the high street for all your restaurant, supermarket and independent shop-browsing needs, and a short 5 minute drive to nearby Saunton Sands and Croyde Bay. The owners are on hand for whatever you need, yet maintain a respectful distance for privacy and quiet enjoyment - and very communicative on the app, responding to all message queries promptly and helpfully. I will definitely be returning for another stay.
