The Pigsty in Braunton

What a great find. Full of character, very close to the centre of Braunton and just off The Tarka Trail and Coast Path. Secluded garden area and very well appointed. The host Wendy was so so helpful and even booked me into a local restaurant at late notice on a Saturday evening. Lovely overnight stay whilst walking the coast path and will definitely return

Excellent hosts. We would happily stay again, which is always the best recommendation. Quirky and designed to make good use of the space available. Very comfy bed. Great location. Lovely sun trap garden with comfortable chairs. Used bike provided to cycle along the Tarka trail very close by. Highly recommend Squires and Siam restaurants which are easy to walk to.

Absolutely no complaints. An excellent find.

Such a cool and quirky place. The living/sleeping area is cozy and fantastically set out, with all that you could need really. The mini kitchen downstairs has everything for a short stay - with plenty of tea, coffee and importantly milk in the fridge! The shower is good, if a little close, and the towels soft. There's bikes and beach gear to use for free and parking on site for a car. It's close to the middle of Braunton, but fortunately not on the main drag.

If you are very tall, or have ANY mobility issues, you need to be aware that the stairs are tight in terms of headroom - especially coming down the stairs. There are helpful instructions, but anyone taller than me (at 6ft) will need to be aware.

Great location, easy walking access to the high street shops and pub. Friendly hosts , coffee and tea making facilities, off street parking.

The owners are so welcoming and lovely! The accommodation was very cosy and exceptionally clean. We'll definitely be back 😁

The location was perfect! So close to town, everything was within a 5 minute walk and an easy drive to all local beaches. The pigsty was so cosy, the fire was on making our arrival feel very homely and warm. It was impeccably clean too. The hosts were just so lovely and gave us every bit of information you could ever need!

Our own fault is that we didn’t stay longer!

It’s a self catering version of a boutique hotel and yet a little home from home. There are surprises in every corner from the drawer full of games to some of the best local information Ive ever seen. I loved it and hope to stay again
