Loved location and bed situation

Hair all over the floor...gross!

The location is great and the internet is fast

İt was dirty. Cobwebs everywhere (ceiling, walls in all rooms), dirty toilet brush swimming in brown water, we found a long hair on the toilet seat and several short hairs on bathroom wall, edge of the tub, armchair... The towels smelled really bad probably because they weren't dried well. There were no other towels available,nor did the host provide them after we asked (told us there are more in the closet but there weren't). The TV didn't work. First we thought it was because the batteries leaked (they looked like something literally chewed on them) but the host sent new ones and the TV still didn't work. They also had to send us a new hair dryer because the one they had, stopped working after 30secs and didn't turn back on (it was also dirty). The soap in the bathroom was watered down to a point where it stopped being a soap. The dish sponge was already used. We found fingerprints on glasses. The bed was so creaky we couldn't turn without waking each other up. Also, the pillows are bad,very uncomfortable. There were also no spare blankets and we were cold so we took some linen from the closet to add to our blankets. The apartment didn't look like in the pictures, there was no red rug,no decorations whatsoever in the living room,it was just bare and old. And the air was so stuffy and smelled like mold. İ never in my life had to write a review like this, nor to complain about so many things. When we complained , the host wrote that we can cancel the booking and get a refund,but why would İ bother with that when I booked this apartment several months in advance? They could have just sent us clean towels and someone to clean properly and my review would have been much better.
