The NW Olympic Retreat

Good kitchen and appliances. Good beds. Comfortable. Clean. Good storage.

Nothing.

Once we found the house, the location was great, very quiet. Beds were comfortable, very nice shower and nice kitchen if you needed to cook. We did not need to use it but there was a washer, dryer and small bottle of detergent if you needed to clean clothes.

Kitchen could have been a little better stocked for use. My Sister and I went to make coffee and there was only one coffee cup but this is new and they are still working on things. I would still recommend this little house for a place to stay.

Would be great if there was a fan or something to help keep cool on warm summer evenings (since there’s no AC)

We arrived at the property after dark and the directions to the house were very clear and the keyless entry was perfect! The heaters in each room worked nicely. We had just what we needed to shower, sleep and prepare for the morning. The property was conveniently located to our activities!

It would have been nice to have a smaller sink in the bathroom so there could be some counter space for toiletries. Also, we didn’t find a dish towel for the kitchen and there were very few paper towels on the roll. These items were not deal breakers, just conveniences

Great location, very close to Olympic National Park roads, restaurants and grocery stores. The shower water pressure was phenomenal and smart TVs in the living room and both bedrooms were great perks! There were full-sized shampoo and conditioner provided so I didn't have to use what I packed.

There was no hand soap provided in the bathroom but we easily went to Safeway to buy an affordable one. Maybe offering some kitchen towels would be a nice touch as well, but there were extra hand bath towels so my partner and I just used one of those in the kitchen. I wouldn't say that the couches in the living room were the most comfortable, but they weren't terrible. The blankets provided added more comfort!

It was in a quiet neighborhood. When we came in the place was a brand new remodel and it was super clean and beautiful inside.

The interior was comfortable and things looked new. We had easy access to the harbor and the olympic national park.

The electric keypad was not functioning - bad batteries? and when we went for the keys in the "lock box" on the back porch, those steps were in poor condition. The grounds of the property were in rough shape.

The house was clean and well lit and had lots of facilities - TV's in each room, washing machine & drier, complete kitchen (which I didn't use). The bathroom was nice and had a good shower. The location was good, by car, for city center (5-10 minutes) and Olympic NP. The electronic key code did not work correctly. Thankfully a call was quickly answered and I was able to access the physical key to get in.

The wood floors are a bit wavy, hard and cold. I suggest providing a basket of slippers if you want people to take off their shoes while inside. There were tiny ants in the bathroom and some in the kitchen. Perhaps provide creamer, sugar, and some varieties of coffee... The bathroom could use a shelf or two, in order to place bathroom necessities.

Very clean and comfortable we enjoyed our stay here. We'll definitely book here if we come back

Everything was amazing

Place has clearly been fully updated recently, was clean and bright. It's a few miles from the main part of town, which was a bit of a walk but I liked that. Very quiet neighborhood.

The directions for locking the door were incorrect. I had to call for them to lock the door, and finally later figured that the code to enter is the one to use. Suggest updating the instructions that are sent so that others don't have the issue. Other issue was the heater / electric fire in the living room. There was no remote and I couldn't see the "on" button & controls when I arrived. I texted to get instructions and was advised that there are other buttons on the front that are obscure because it is discreet. Suggest describing how to turn on fireplace as it was cold during my stay.
