"Lacking a human touch ."

Clean and comfortable

The in house bar restaurant not giving priority for the guest. Despite telling them , we are foreigner and have just checked in, and want to have my wife’s birthday dinner, the waiters just ignored it and front stuff not helpful at all.

The room was really clean and adequately spacious. The breakfast was quite good for the price we paid. The staff was exceptional.

The room is super noisy. We don't know if it was the AC compressor but it was noisy 24/7 which was not convenient.

"Good hotel to stay. There are a lot of room for improvement ."

The Rooms are clean and well taken care by the house keeping team.. restauran and food was excellent. Very attentive waitresses. Cheff was willing to help get us some health related items like zero spices.

The bed always feel very damp ( wet) don't know the reason. Maybe due to air-conditioning. New towels get wet while showering due to wrong placing.

I stayed at The Residency, Chennai for Eighteen nights and had a wonderful experience. The team was warm, professional, and incredibly thoughtful—they even surprised me with birthday wishes and a cake, which made me feel at home away from home. The hotel is clean, well-run, and great value for the area. I’d happily stay again. Breakfast: Generous buffet with fresh South Indian staples (idli, dosa, sambar), a live egg station, fruit and bakery items. Service is quick, coffee is strong, and everything felt hygienic and well-organized. Room: Clean, comfortable, and quiet with strong AC and reliable Wi-Fi. Bed and linens are high quality, shower pressure is good, and housekeeping is consistent. Plenty of storage and a functional work desk. Location: Very convenient—centrally placed for business and shopping with lots of dining options nearby. Easy to get rideshares/taxis, and travel times to key city spots are reasonable.
