Firstly, this is a fantastic location. Above Pyramid Mall in the Sunway Lagoon complex. Easy access to the mall, theme park etc. The communication with the host was easy and responsive. The host also was quick to help solve problems and offer solutions.

Firstly, I'll own straight up that we only paid AUD$171 for 2 nights, so maybe that should have set off some alarm bells. When we first arrived, there was an overwhelming smell of moth balls. We discovered 7-8 balls strewn throughout the property. It was an assault on the senses. My family still claim they can smell them on their luggage now. The apartment felt dirty and un cared for. There was limited cutlery (1 butter knife, 3 forks, mixture of spoons), 2 small dipping bowls (for an apartment that sleeps 6). The kettle was broken. *Note here: The host had some new bowls and a new kettle provided within a few hours. The bathroom door handle was loose and felt as if it could easily fall off, the shower bracket attached to the wall in the shower was wobbly and felt it could easily come off. The shower / bath leaked somehow creating a stream of water into the bathroom. The bunk beds were steel spring frames, which ensured with every movement everyone in the apartment was awoken / disturbed. At 2:30am we eventually moved the mattress onto the floor. The TV didn't work as it had a plug for another country and thus unable to be used. I commented to my wife that the conditions made me feel like I was living in a share house with 19 year old males! Overall, it's a great location but the apartment is old, tired and is not a place we were looking forward to going back to from our day out.
