Raja Ampat Dive Resort

From the moment we began planning our trip, Augus, the owner, was incredibly helpful and transparent regarding pricing and local recommendations. Upon arrival, Yasil made us feel right at home; her attention to detail in managing our itinerary and addressing our questions was exceptional. The entire boat crew was friendly and proactive, but a massive shoutout goes to Benny. Not only is he a skilled captain and a brilliant photographer—capturing truly cinematic shots—but he also went above and beyond when my wife’s ring became deformed and stuck on her finger. Captain, photographer, and emergency "medic"—Benny truly does it all with a genuine, fun spirit. We also want to thank the chef for the incredible hospitality, especially for the custom vegetarian pizza prepared for our special dinner on the pier.

Better Wifi connectivity at our room, although the rest of the resort has pretty strong and good WiFi.

The location is beautiful, and the staff were kind and welcoming.

We had four consecutive reservations and stayed 12 nights in total at this all-inclusive resort. Unfortunately, on day 10, I became very ill with symptoms consistent with food poisoning, which lasted about 6 days and affected the remainder of my trip. As all food and drinking water were provided by the resort, this was particularly concerning. I did not report it to staff at the time, so I cannot comment on how it would have been handled. Regarding scuba diving, there was no functioning Nitrox analyzer available, meaning tank mixes could not be properly verified. When I checked a tank myself, I repeatedly obtained inconsistent readings (28%, 32%, and 34% O₂ on the same tank), which is not acceptable from a safety perspective. In addition, most guides did not appear to have strong familiarity with the local dive sites or currents.

This resort has a rustic vibe, delicious food, good location for dive sites. All the staff are very pleasant though with some language limitations. Cabins have working a/c, hot water, clean linens, and great decks from each cabin, plus two docks to choose from to chill out or watch sunset. House reef past the dock has some smaller fish, but there is a fair bit of boat traffic to keep you aware.

This resort served our purpose, we came to dive. Shop was well equipped.

le bungalow ne dispose d’aucun rangement les sanitaires sont dans le bungalow sans toit juste une porte donc ouvert dans la chambre wifi très faible et qui n’arrive pas jusqu’au chambre service plongée au strict minimum pourtant facturé le double des autres centres que nous avons fréquenté durant notre séjour guides qui fument non stop sur les bateaux et les intervalles de surface

Relaxte atmosfeer en fantastisch personeel. Ze hielpen met alles! De duikinstructor Ronaldo met zijn maatje Boy waren super! Veel manta roggen gezien!!!! En honger hoef je ook niet te lijden 😉

Het onderhoud heeft aandacht nodig, maar het heeft ons niet gedeerd.

El Resort necesita remodelación , hamacas incómodas y con madera rota algunas . El acceso para hacer snorkel muy incómodo. El arrecife está deteriorado aunque ves peces y algunos corales bonitos pero nada que ver con otros sitios de raja Ampat.
