The Cosy Norse Retreat

There were a lot of lovely things about the property, the bed was so comfy, shower was great and it was close enough to the city centre, there were some lovely eating places round about us.

Not much to be honest!!

The kitchen,bathroom and bedroom were ok but the living room was very dirty looking rug very dirty the throw on bed sofa needed throwing cushions dirty sofa bed was like sitting on a wooden bench very uncomfortable tv had no signal could only watch Netflix curtains dirty and not all hanging from the pole they had left sweets in a jar that was absolutely filthy the whole apartment could do with painting in all rooms!!

Kitchen wasn’t clean, the bin was full from previous guests. Crumbs all over the floor and pots on the draining board.

All good nice place. Good position.

Only real issue we had was the front room became very warm and was hard to ventilate., probably not an issue most of the year thou. Parking, would have been helpful But there are options nearby. The closest car park doesn't seem to show on the ring go app.

Was like a little home from home! A great base for staying in York! Very clean, tasteful and in a fab location! Little extras as well that made the stay even more enjoyable!

We were sweating the first night! That’s no fault of the owners! Was a bit of a heatwave! A fan or thinner duvet might have been handy but was no game changer!

The check in process was easy and the place was very clean and comfortable. It is within easy access to the city centre and to the train station. Good value for money.
