Luxury Lake View House

太值了，湖景满分，面积超大，非常安静厨房用具齐全。

Huge viewing window in the lounge was the absolute highlight for us. Sitting with a cup of tea at the start of the day and a glass of wine at the end of the day just staring out over Lake Tekapo and the Mountains was divine. Even though there was snow outside the sun beaming thru that window warmed you right up. Great house set up with all the facilities you need. Extremely comfy furniture (special mention to the reclining setting with foot rests - perfect after a long day walking) and great big open kitchen for preparing meals. We loved the tv being tucked away in another lounge area, so all day the backdrop was the view! Location was perfect. Slight hill, but easy, short walk down to the town and cafes and all the tourist jump off points. Plenty of wood if you enjoy the fire going, which we did for one evening.

It was winter when we were visiting with a lot of snow around. There was one split system in the back wing of the house where the bedrooms are and it's just not enough. We had it going all day with doors closed and we were freezing going to bed at night. Electric blankets certainly helped and I found a plug in heater to use. But if I had little kids it wouldn't be very pleasant. Plus the freezing cold room in the middle (which was clearly stated on the listing) makes it pretty unpleasant crossing over from one wing to the other to use the bathroom or going to bed.

The house is so comfortable with everything you could possibly need. The views are incredible. Short walk to the lake and shops. The playground with the best flying fox/zip wire!

Everything was good big and spacious. Everything was there that we needed. Better than we expected Thankyou

Main bed could of been more comfy as mattress had hump in middle. No dishwasher powder for dishwasher

This is an amazing property, lots of space and clear instructions.

The heating in the bedrooms part of the house is really bad. I wouldn't stay here in mid winter.

Great views from house. Nice and clean property, perfect stay for family.

Unfortunately spa was not working which was a disappointment.
