"Such a lovely cosy place away from the noise of the cities and the countryside on your doorstep"

10.0

A lovely cosy place, better than expected and was very quiet. Everything was catered for and although we brought lots of things with us, had we forgotten anything there was even emergency spare toothbrushes, tea and coffee, shower gels etc. Every facility catered for from dishwasher to dryer, vacuum to cleaning products. It felt like staying in someone’s home. Was nicely decorated and well laid out with good use of space. Great location as immediately round the back of the property is access to walking or biking routes. Lots to explore and because it’s not in a touristy area it’s lovely and quiet and like being a resident close to some true rural Welsh countryside. It’s not far to the beaches by car (or you can even hike all the way!) And if needed there’s a big Tesco around 10 minutes drive away to stock up with food. It’s a residential terraced housing street so on street parking (free) which was fine with a car but if you have anything bigger you may have to park a bit further away or just around the corner. All the neighbours we saw were lovely and friendly. The immediate neighbours are aware this is a B&B and were chatting with us about the area and happy to recommend places as well. We are very quiet people and just using this as a base for daytime walking and exploring so please bear this in mind if staying here and respect the neighbours who don’t want loud music and noise constantly from holidaymakers! So much to say really but if you’re looking for a quiet place to hide away and experience a proper slice of Wales then this is ideal.

"Lovely house with great access to the bike trails."

9.0

It was very well furnished, looks beautiful, had everything I needed for the stay. The host was great wirh any questions I had. I loved the kitchen and downstairs Bath.

Parking was tricky, there is space but it’s parallel parking on a narrow road and could not always park near the house. As a solo female traveller the local place to get food didn’t feel particularly welcoming.

"Excellent and lovely location."

10.0

Stunning location close to some amazing landscapes. Lovely house over three levels. They had gone the extra mile to make sure everything was available for a pleasant stage. House was decorated to a very high standard. Very quiet area despite the fact it is a terrace house. Local pub friendly and local take away good quality food and friendly staff plus a short walk up the road. Massive fridge and freezer space for longer stays. Warmed up quickly when boosted the heating. Lovely walks within yards of the property. Well thought out decor all around. Very detailed visitor guide has been produced for the visit. Probably one of the best properties that I have booked.

They could not have thought of anything else to make for a perfect stay. If you are like me a larger person with mobility issues there are step stairs and the upstairs toilet and shower is tight. Skinny people no problem.

"Beautiful cosy house 🏠 and stunning Scenery @Afan Forest 🌳"

10.0

Beautiful kitchen, beds were super comfortable. A super cosy place to stay, nice and clean, my kids loved it 🥰 if it’s raining you definitely have an amazing place to chill out. The waterfalls close by are a must, and the old station pub (The Restrooms) behind was so cool 😎 did really good food. (Big portions) we would love to stay again.

"Lovely little house. Very clean comfy."

Very clean. Nicely presented and modern.

Awkward parking for large vehicles. Local amenities were sparse. Other than that, nothing.
