Afan Forest Retreat Happy Days Stays

A superb house which is perfect for a family getaway. Everything you could need is in the house and is very welcoming. The house has so many little details all ironed out and has given us some ideas for our own. There is so much to do on the doorstep it's just not possible to do it all but there is something for everyone. We only stayed a couple of nights but would happily book for a longer stay next time.

A good base if you want to explore further away. Although we didn't use, a nice fireplace. Heating very efficient. Kitchen the best place, can really cook some food. Nice relaxing place. Pub at the back actually right on the door step but we didn't use.

Nothing I did not like. I liked everything with the cottage. Previous occupants or some, not looking after the property. Aka when you stay, treat it as your own and behave. If you have animals, take extra care.

Good location for walking. Large well equipped kitchen. Welcome pikelets and Welsh cakes. Good effective central heating.

Lovely house and nice area. Was very comfortable. Will stay for a week next time as enjoyed it so much.

Stairs took a bit of getting used to and upstairs ensuite was too small. Would have been better if it didn't have a shower in there. But that's picking at straws.

Abit hot at night and number 19 was a rude neighbour other than that great

The house where we stayed very cosy and modern. All amenties needed were in there. Also the owner think about everything, even if someone forget teeth brush, she has put few new ones under sink. We felt very welcome in such a beautiful home. Location was amazing. Lots of walking and cycling trials.

I know no one can help with that, but I wish it could be some gift shops around.
