The hosts were all very kind and made me feel completely at home. They even helped me plan amazing experiences like the houseboat and kayaking trips, which made my stay unforgettable. Every morning, I enjoyed delicious local breakfast dishes that were truly special. The rooftop and balcony offer beautiful views, perfect for relaxing. This was honestly one of the best homestays I’ve ever had. Thank you so much!

I've been traveling the region for decades and this is my fifth trip to India. As a seasoned traveler it's such a joy to find accommodation like this. The family who run this small place far exceeds the warmth, friendliness, and service I've found anywhere - they're such good people. There's nothing that isn't attended immediately should you require it with the Mimi, Rino, Ronnie, Robbie, and Sona all eager to make sure you're stay is comfortable as possible. The accommodation itself is spotlessly clean, the beds comfortable, the views lovely, the location perfect, the wifi fast...everything is perfect. Fort me, as a person who sometimes has problems with noise, the rooms are great in that the doors, windows etc are built with high quality furbishment making the rooms very quiet. The homestyle meals provided are authentic, tasty, well priced, and an insight themselves into local culture with a wide array of different types of Indian cuisine dished up each day. The value of this place is phenomenal!

Excellent location. Fantastic views of the canals. Super clean room. Comfortable with attached bathroom and air conditioning. All required amenities were made available. What made this place stand out is the staff. Family run Homestay. Mother and three sons. All very helpful and friendly, went out of their way to make my stay memorable. Nothing was too much trouble. The mother prepares made to order meals. I am Malayalee and all the dishes were authentic Keralan food. Very accommodating, from check-in to checkout, and bag storage. If I could give a higher than ten rating I would! Highly recommended, don’t think twice to book this place for a smooth, comfortable and relaxing stay.Value for money and very reasonably priced.

Everything was perfect. Very clean, very comfortable and so friendly and helpful. The 2 breakfast's were delicious, especially the egg curry and steamed rice. I had long chats over breakfast with Rino,so friendly and thoughtful.

Paddy N Cancal is in a good location. They offer a dinner at the homestay which is very good (would highly recommend if you choose to stay). Cold water (20rp) and beers (250rp) available. There is a nice rooftop (Paddy on one side, canal on the other) where you can sit on in the later afternoon to watch the sunset.

The description advertises free bike hire. This was not the case. We had to pay 800pm for 2 bikes that were in terrible condition (I believe they were his niece and nephews bikes). We didn't realise our booking was for a non AC room (not their fault) and the room kept quite hot so if you're choosing to stay here - would recommend getting the AC option.

The room was clean and the AC worked well. From the community balcony you have a nice view of the river. They also organized an amazing overnight houseboat tour for us. You shouldn't miss that! It's a little bit far away from the city center, by feet you need 15 min.
