The apartment was beautiful and very well appointed. We had everything we needed.

The house was spacious and had all the facility you would need. The outdoor area was great and private. The location was awesome- everything just out the door - good, shopping, transport - all easy walking distance. . The host was organised with info early and up to when we arrived.

Great location. Can walk to everywhere. Carlotta is an excellent host and provided lots of useful information about the property and surroundings. Including great places to eat.

Review of 2-Bed Apartment Stay We stayed in this centrally located apartment for 3 nights (Saturday to Monday) as a group of three single people. The location is ideal, right in the heart of the city by the main theatre and near lots of busy restaurants, taxi rank and easy access to parks and the harbour for runners. The apartment is spacious with a lovely patio, dual heating/air con and good wardrobe storage. It was well-stocked with a selection of black and herbal. teas for 3 days, with breakfast provisions for the first morning—UHT milk, juice cartons, coffee pods and packaged pastries (see photo). By day, the street is pretty and quiet, with good breakfast cafes within 1 minute walk. The communication with the agent beforehand was excellent, with clear instructions for key collection, parking and departure. Overall, while the apartment’s location, amenities and communications with Carlotta were good, the lack of preparation for three single guests, bathroom issues and the noise made the stay less enjoyable than we had hoped. However, with good earplugs and rectification by the owners/ agent, future guests would no doubt enjoy this spacious apartment.

Our stay had a few drawbacks but please read our positives as well!! On arrival, there was a very musty smell, and despite booking for three people with a request for 3 beds through the Booking.com search engine, no bedding was provided for the sofabed. We were told on arrival that prior notification was needed, and Carlotta (the agent) offered to rectify by the next day- perhaps we missed this when booking. There were also a few bathroom issues, which we reported to the agent, who assured us these would be addressed for future guests. The flat is on the 2nd floor and has beautiful deep marble steps but these may be an issue for anyone with knee, back or mobility issues. We were expecting more from the "handbook" but in fact it is sent through what's app, with mostly instructions for utilities and 5 local restaurants. The location, while convenient, came with significant noise disruptions if you were a light sleeper. Although this is noted in other reviews, we thought we would manage this as we were generally out all day until 11:30pm. However, the street below was lively with tavernas, making it fun and accessible for evening meals but very noisy until around 1 am. Municipal garbage/bottle collections at 5 am added to the disturbances.

Exceeded our expectations! Beautiful home, great location. The host was so helpful and communicated consistently, both before and during our stay. They were even able to accommodate us early when our flight got cancelled and we had to take an earlier flight. Amazing - best place we have stayed, and would definitely stay again!

Nothing we didn't like, just a suggestion to provide additional towels and toilet paper for longer stays.

We just returned from two weeks of a driving tour around the island of Sicily; a family of five (adults). In my opinion, staying at A Casa del Gioielliere in Palermo on Via Orologio was the best part of the trip. The location is perfect and we were able to immerse ourselves in the city for a few glorious nights. The area is pedestrian friendly and bubbling with life. The apartment is on a street that is pedestrian only and has great cafés and restaurants. Expect a lot of activity until late at night. This is what we wanted, so it was ideal for us. The host provides you a perfectly prepared, large apartment with a modern kitchen and a gorgeous terrace. He has very thoughtfully planned this apartment for guests. It is clean and has been renovated to include modern conveniences and comforts, but retain original charm like vaulted, wooden beamed ceilings. Enrico is a great source of information, Knowledgeable and kind. He helped us arrange for very close parking, recommended restaurants, places to go, and was always available for questions. Our stay was flawless. Highly recommend. Remarkably, we later found out that Via Orologio was featured in an international travel magazine a few years ago. So cool.

Beautiful flat located at the centre of Palermo old town. Flat is spacious and full of features and owner offers pretty much all you need during vacation. Walkable distance to numerous attractions and great food options literally just outside the building. Owner is super helpful, check in was smooth and easy, he also sent over recommendations for place to go and great restaurants within the neighbourhood. Will highly recommend to all my friends who want to visit Palermo.

Nothing really. The only thing you need to aware that for people rent a car, you do need to pay parking fees if you want to park nearby. Owner is more than happy to help is also a plus.

It honestly couldn't have been better! The location was fantastic!. On a beautiful street near the stunning Teatro Messina. Just off Via Maquada which has lots of cafes, restaurants and shops and is really close to the other main streets in Palermo. It was so central and was also lovely and quiet at night. The apartment has 2 lovely spacious double rooms with comfortable beds and pillows. One has en-suite and the other has its own bathroom. The living room was lovely and spacious with a comfy sofa. The terrace was just beautiful! The kitchen was really well equipped with thoughtful touches like jam & croissants, coffee and milk. Enrico the host was incredibly helpful, even giving suggestions for places to eat/drink. He was always available to answer any questions.

I absolutely loved this appartment. And I can say that in reality it looks even better and more cosy than in the pictures. I don't have anything else to add in addition to other nice reviews left :) except that I also appreciated shampoo, hair conditioner and shower gel a lot :)
