The location was amazing, unbeatable that close to the beach. We had a comfortable stay, eveything was clean.

Shower water pressure, the quality of the towels (they smell bad after only one use). Also the drivers for pick up and drop off to the airport were too reckless.. I felt unsave multiple times because they passed by other cars in a dangerous way and drove too fast.

Since our visit fell into the shoulder season, Tuna Bay was the only operational resort on this stretch of the island. That said, I would not have selected any other part of the island to stay at. With very small bays the opportunities for beach walks are very limited on the Perhentians. The resort was OK, nothing out of the ordinary but with very nice staff and luckily a varied menu (there was no other restaurant open). Superb snorkeling just 5meters off the beach, incl. turtles, trigger fish, clown fish, angelfish, moorish idol ... you name it.

Nothing to dislike that is related to the resort. But we forgot some clothes in our room and upon my enquiry a day later to send them to us via local parcel service, management claimed that they were apparently "not found".

Les chambres ne sont pas bien isolés les unes des autres donc on peut entendre facilement, une porte dans la chambre et relié à l’autre chambre, nous avons accidentellement ouvert cette porte et nous sommes tombés sur d’autres touristes. Aussi, comme l’hôtel est toujours en construction ou nouveau je pense, il y a des insectes qui rentrent dans les pièces. Lors de notre séjour, pas d’eau pendant un jour car un tuyau était fissuré (si j’ai bien compris) très contraignant lorsque nous nageons à la mer.

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist generell super schön. Die Insel und die Aussicht sind wirklich atemberaubend. Man kann von dort aus problemlos andere Inseln mit dem Wassertaxi besichtigen. Die Mitarbeiter sind super herzlich und freundlich. Das Frühstück hat uns etwas enttäuscht, weil es sehr einfach gehalten war. Wenn man später als 9 Uhr zum Frühstück gegangen ist, wurde einiges nicht mehr aufgefüllt. Die Smoothies waren top! Die Karte für das Abendessen war gut. Wir hatten verschiedenste Gerichte, von asiatischen Nudeln zu Fisch oder Hähnchen . Alles super lecker und auch nicht sehr teuer. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Die Zimmer sind schon in die Jahre gekommen und sind wirklich einfach gehalten. Für den Preis finde ich es etwas zu hoch, aber es hat ausgereicht.

Ristorante con menù vario e molto buono. Camere pulite.

Soltanto 7 ombrelloni per tutti gli ospiti è davvero poco. Alcuni rotti e dopo aver chiesto di ripristinarli per esigenza di ombra in spiaggia , ci hanno risposto che non potevano fare niente.

Die Lage ist traumhaft! Direkt am Strand, unter Palmen und ruhig. Das Personal war sehr nett ! Die kleine Terrasse am Bungalow ist nett um Abends dort noch zu sitzen. Oder man geht die paar Meter zum Strand . Wir haben sogar einen Flughund in den Palmen gesehen! Die Insel ist sehr schön, toll zum Schnorcheln. Das Essen im Tuna Bay Restaurant war immer lecker. Das Frühstück war ein bisschen einseitig, wir hätten uns über Müsli gefreut!

Die Bungalows sind sehr hellhörig, wir hatten in 1 Nacht direkte Nachbarn und haben jedes Wort gehört...da wir an den anderen Tagen keine Nachbarn hatten, war es ok für uns. Wenn es voll belegt ist, könnte das sehr stören auf Dauer. Die Bungalows sind von der Inneneinrichtung etwas abgewohnt und könnten eine Renovierung Vertragen .

Die Lage am Strand ist super

Insgesamt überteuert, Aussicht auf eine Betonmauer, Frühstücksbuffet war mäßig, Bootstour zu teuer vor Ort (sharkpoint wurde gar nicht angesteuert), Minimarkt geschlossen, Personal konnte keine Auskunft darüber geben, Restaurant überteuert und dafür schlechtes Essen und eher ein Surf and Turf Restaurant, wenig bis nichts sinnvolles Vegetarisches Essen, bzw. pescetarisches Essen übertrieben teuer (Nahrungsmittel werden mit den Touribooten angeliefert, keine extra Kosten zum ausreden) Personal insgesamt ok, überall wird noch extra Steuern drauf gelegt, beginnt schon mit der Bootsfahrt zum Hotel und zurück, normalerweise ist das im Preis inbegriffen Korallen sind alle tot in der Umgebung

Location was ok, bed fairly comfortable.

But very basic and needs a little TLC and updating.
