- extremely uncomfortable bed, if one person moves, the second one wakes up... - the floor was damaged and hard to walk without slippers - the bed linen were worn down, yellow and very stinky, to thr point that it was hard to sleep - no electric kettle / coffee / tea - food at the restaurant rather expensive as for the quality

Erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze hebben voor ons de boot geregeld en ons opgehaald bij onze villa in Besut. Mooie plek, goede snorkeltrip, goed ontbijtbuffet en prima restaurant. We hadden graag wat langer gebleven.

What to say… It’s a pity. We came here for a special occasion and would not recommend this place at all. I understand that on a small island some things cannot be perfect, and you adjust your expectations. Even with poorly designed rooms you can still manage and try to enjoy your stay. What made the experience genuinely miserable was the atmosphere created by the staff. Even a lack of skill in service can be forgiven if people are kind. Here it felt the opposite. Most people working here—perhaps except a few gardeners who smiled in the morning—looked like they were having a very miserable time working here. Once you finish eating, no one comes to take the plates away. Coffee is burned and unpleasant even if you try to drink it. The food feels not only made from cheap ingredients, but prepared without care or skill. I cannot fully blame the staff themselves; it feels more like a management problem. The impression is that the property tries to save money at every step while charging guests for something entirely different. I honestly wish I could go back in time and never book this place. Choose the Marriott instead. It is only a little more expensive and you will probably have a genuinely good time. The beach chairs here are incredibly uncomfortable, many of them broken. The beach itself is beautiful, but almost everything else is a disappointment and can easily ruin a long-awaited holiday. It is quite sad to see a place where people seem to be treated so poorly. One more thing that made us uncomfortable: the staff repeatedly called my husband my father. I politely clarified that he is my husband, yet the next day it continued again. It was awkward and unnecessary.

La vicinanza dei bungalow alla spiaggia che peraltro ha una bellissima barriera corallina piena di pesci a pochi metri dalla riva, il giardino molto curato, l’ottima pulizia e l’ottima scelta di cibo sia al buffet della colazione che a pranzo e cena, la spa e il massaggio aromaterapico hanno dato un tocco magico alla vacanza.

To była zdecydowanie najbardziej rajska część naszego pobytu w Malezji. Spędziliśmy tu 5 nocy i z przyjemnością zostalibyśmy jeszcze dłużej. Na początku warto podkreślić obsługę – od momentu zameldowania w przystani, transportu łodzią na wyspę, aż po pomoc w organizacji powrotu i dalszego transportu do Kuala Lumpur. Każda osoba z personelu była bardzo pomocna i życzliwa – naprawdę widać, że zależy im na gościach. Podczas pobytu mieszkaliśmy aż w trzech różnych domkach: z widokiem na ogród, w domku przy samej plaży oraz w domku położonym wyżej z widokiem na morze. Każdy z nich był czysty, schludny, z wygodnymi łóżkami i bardzo przyjemną atmosferą. Byliśmy tam pod koniec lutego – to końcówka pory deszczowej – ale ani razu nie padało, a turystów było stosunkowo niewielu, co dawało poczucie spokoju i przestrzeni. Plaża jest bardzo naturalna i piękna – biały piasek, fragmenty rafy, muszle i kraby. Dostępne są leżaki i parasole, ale naturalnego cienia też nie brakuje dzięki palmom. Woda ma niesamowity lazurowy kolor, a tuż przy plaży znajduje się rafa z bogatą fauną i florą – idealne miejsce do snorkelingu. Bardzo podobały nam się również spacery wzdłuż plaży i po drewnianych pomostach oraz „balkonikach” prowadzących wzdłuż wybrzeża. Są trochę zużyte, ale bezpieczne i dodają temu miejscu uroku. W resorcie znajduje się duża restauracja, do której wchodzi się bez butów. Obsługa jest bardzo miła, a jedzenie smaczne – szczególnie lokalna kuchnia. Dania europejskie (np. pizza czy spaghetti) smakują nieco inaczej niż w Europie, więc warto nastawić się raczej na lokalne potrawy. Ceny są trochę wyższe niż w Malezji kontynentalnej czy na Langkawi, ale to normalne dla wyspy. Resort pomaga także w organizacji wycieczek łodzią po pobliskich zatokach. My korzystaliśmy również z nurkowania z pobliskiej bazy Cosmic Divers z instruktorem Amerem – było świetnie. Podczas pobytu odwiedzały nas też dzikie zwierzęta – langury okularowe, warany i kraby – co tylko podkreślało tropikalny
