Tuna Bay Island Resort

L'hôtel est très bien placé. Les bungalows sont agréables. La restauration se fait face à la mer. Nous avons réservé facilement un taxi boat pour faire le tour des iles et faire du PMT. Nous avons réservé un massage.

Lors de la réservation il était noté que chaque bungalow avec un lit double. Etant une famille de 6 nous avons réservé 3 bungalows. Hors la chambre comprenait 3 couchages. Nous n'avons pas pu trouver d'arrangement avec le gérant ce qui est bien dommage. Nous ne pouvions pas annuler 15 jours avant puisque l'information était inexacte. 2 logements nous suffisaient.

Amazing location, staff very friendly and helpful.

Accommodation lovely and would be perfect with a little updating including sun beds plus more parasols. Visited during Ramadan so not many places open.

Breakfast was very nice particularly as we run first thing. Location was very good with a great beach at the resort with snokelling from the beach. Lovely beach around the headland which is an easy walk one way ad 15 minute jungle trek to a further resort the other way. Water taxi can take you anywhere for very little money eg snorkeling with reef sharks at Shark Point or across to the smaller island. Very special watching the sun set from the restaurant terrace.

Nothing really about the resort. Generally Malaysia has an issue with litter and the crossing from Besut was incredibly scary and dangerous but that is not the resorts fault .

Leggermente caro per i prezzi Malesiani, la camera n.1 è molto vicina al ristorante e al molo per cui risulta rumorosa

Ho messo un brutto voto allo staff (cosa che non faccio mai) per una sola persona, gli altri sono stati tutti gentilissimi.la persona in questione è l'addetto al cambio teli mare.ho dimenticato il telo mare nel lettino la sera prima e lui mi ha trattata malissimo,ripetendo per tre volte che lui non voleva sentire una cosa del genere,che non dovevo farlo mai più,con modi che ritengo inammissibili per un membro dello staff nei confronti di un ospite. Spero che ci sia qualcuno addetto allo staff che gli spieghi che in nessun caso ci si può rivolgere ad un ospite in modo così maleducato. Tra l'altro ne' al check in ne' in camera c'era scritto nessun regolamento in merito ai teli mare,quindi lo ritengo ulteriormente inammissibile.

I really appreciated the privacy during my stay since it is my pre-honeymoon, which made the experience very comfortable and relaxing. The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout. The room and bathroom were both clean, and the overall facilities were great. You can go snorkeling right in front of the hotel’s beach, where you can see colorful fish and coral. It’s also lovely to walk along the beach and enjoy the beautiful view.

The room did not have a TV, although the hotel provides WiFi so this may not be an issue for some guests. The water pressure in the bathroom was bit slow, the shower would feel much better with stronger water pressure.

Tuna Bay is located in a very beautiful location, the accommodation is in the wooden houses, one room and a bathroom, Wi-Fi was excellent. The houses are very close to the beach. The water in February is quite warm, the beach in front of the hotel is the coral resort, you can go snorkeling from morning till evening, the underwater world is perfect, different types of multicolored fish and corals, if you are lucky you will see the family of turtles. But don't forget a good pair of aqua socks, as you may incidentally hurt yourself against the corals and the corals are not the subject to destruction. And the snorkeling mask. Some people were wearing the swimming costumes that protected the whole body, we were happy with the regular ones for sunbathing. The restaurant is excellent, European breakfast and a lot of tasty dishes a la carte of different cuisines: Malaysian, Thai, Italian, Chinese, Indian and not only. About 5 minutes and you will have your delicious dish. The prices are a little bit higher than on the mainland. The staff is really extremely friendly and helpful.

The only way to get to the island is by the boat, that is obvious. I presume all the boats that deliver the tourists should be of the closed type, as on the way to the hotel, the boat was of the open type and you can imagine the screaming of the international tourists (about 15 adults and about 5 children around 12) when the waves splash into your face and the whole body, it was a little bit scary, although everybody supported each other; and the sea was a little bit wavy that day. On the way back the boat was closed from the water and wind.
