The Dairy Bothy at Clauchan Holiday Cottages

Great old building on a very beautiful farm, way out of any town.

I struggled to sleep in the bed: very high and a very bouncy mattress. We also could not get the shower to do more just warm, and that wasn’t because we don’t know how to use it. Everything else was fine.

So peaceful

Great stay at the Bothy, very easy check in, we arrived late at night, messaged the day before to make sure that was ok, no problem atall. Clear instructions for wifi, check out, and a book full of places to visit/do nearby. We stayed because we were attending a wedding at GiGis yard, which was only a 10 minute drive away, perfect location. Perfect little house for the 2 of us. The photos on the site could do with a update as it was better than the photos

Everything there was nothing to dislike Jackie was just lovely nothing that was to much trouble. We stated in the boffy it was just lovely and cosy kitchen has everything you need has a dinning table with a T.V it was spotless. The bedroom was upstairs with a T.V and a 2 seater sofa also spotless,there is a summer house you can sit in,in the evening a small patio area with a garden table with 2 chairs there are amazing views from all of the windows thank you for an amazing stay will definitely be back soon Jacqui and mick
