Very welcoming hosts, which started the moment I booked. The location for walking in that part of the Dales is fantastic. A real bonus that you can stay just one night in The Snug, which makes a quick break away so doable. We used the kitchenette to make breakfast, in fact coffee, crumpets and jam were provided, really thoughtful and a wonderful touch. There is a choice of nearby pubs for dinner, but you could warm up food here if you preferred to. The beds were so comfortable, it was a very cosy and welcoming space, and we were so impressed how it had all been designed for a modestly proportioned room. Will definitely be staying here again, my friend and I just loved it - two beautiful walks, a great night's sleep and time to just enjoy catching up.

Location was great and the hosts made us really welcome. Was great to find crumpets for breakfast with jam and honey. Milk in fridge with teas/coffee etc. I did mention this break was for my wife's birthday and was a lovely touch to find flowers, card and little cake

It's a shame we couldn't stay for longer, but that's not a reflection on our stay

The well thought through touches- dried flower arrangements to obscure the view from outsiders rather than net curtains

The overall room lighting (without the kitchen light or bedside lights was very poor) even in summer!

The crumpets for breakfast. Fresh milk for tea. Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable beds. Clear instructions on how to find it. Owners very kindly allowed us to have our luggage dropped off and picked by courier service.
