Penthouse w Private Rooftop and Free parking

Absolutely loved the rooftop for sunsets and the lounge is so beautiful and big with an excellent quality TV for movies which we enjoyed so much, perfect central location too

As others have already said please get a fitting for the shower head, annoying trying to wash hair with one hand and no where to put the shower head. An easy suction cup one would work just fine. Also the hairdryer doesn’t work so needs replacing.

The location was great and the size of the apartment was good especially since we couldn’t sleep on the bed from the moss in the house so we slept on the sofa. Niki helped us with an early check in at 13:32 instead it 15:00.

To start off, 1. No lift, walking to the property is a pain as it’s a poorly managed building with no proper lift, if you’re a tourist with a heavy bag, please AVOID this place at all costs. We spoke to some neighbours who told us that the lift hardly works and breaks down all the time (you have to walk four flights of really long stairs-and we didn’t complain climbing up the basilica. 2. The HORRIBLE SMELLS. The neighbour is a homeless person. The smell reaches this bnb. What smell you ask? Smells like a combination of dead bodies and old dried up urine over years. Every time we walked past, we had to wear masks and when you don’t, you just gag and throw up because it’s IMPOSSIBLE to pass by without the smell traumatising you for life. 3. DIRTY. The apartment is very dirty, (everything except the sheets-those were newly washed) The floors were gross, the bathtub had layers of dirt you could scrape off of it. But since the host was gracious enough to let us check in early, we decided to buy some Japanese cleaning sprays and help to clean the toilets for them since we were going to be there for 5 nights. Where we were left the toilet cleaner than when we came in. We got rashes on our bodies(I have attached pictures as well) 4. Views. I know it says view of Basilica but if they were to correct the false advertising, they would tell you that you get a BLOCKED VIEW with just the roof of the basilica, no sunrise, no sunset. And it’s not because it isn’t a penthouse. It’s because the pictures haven’t been updated and people have built things on the roof. 5. The cutlery was so dirty we had to take everything out and wash it all again. There were years and years of stains on them. 6.

A bit awkward to get to the apartament

Apartment is amazing. nice design with good taste , comfortable beds and sofa, very big, nice view from the terrace. big TV with Netflix. Good communication with the host. Close to the city center.

If you are afraid of heights, this could be challenging. To reach the apartment you go with the elevator to 3rd floor, then you pass the interior yard on the sides with have rails and go up the stairs to the 4th floor to the penthouse. In the bathroom the side glass to protect water going over didnt stay put unless you place it more on the outside , then water would drip through But this two very minor drawbacks didn't influence our very great impression the apartment offered us.

Very spacious and loved the rooftop- the sofa bed was comfortable for two and the air conditioning was so good!

The location is great, we didn't even need the public transport to get around. The view from terrace is amazing!

Very nicely decorated apartment, great view from the rooftop. Very convenient location in the city center with parking in the inner courtyard. Great video instructions for self check-in sent on whatsapp.

Getting inside the courtyard for parking can be a little bit difficult. You have to first go up to the apartment to open the gate. Then you will probably struggle a bit to get the car inside through the narrow corridor. The building itself is not in the best shape and you have to walk up a few stairs too.
