Near The Canal Homstay

My experience staying here was absolutely amazing! The room was cozy and comfortable, and the breakfasts were simply amazing - full of flavor and variety, with home-made touches that made the morning special. However, what really makes this place stand out are its owners. When I mentioned that I had lost my money, the owner immediately offered his help and went looking for it. This shows how much they care about their guests. They are incredibly warm and understanding people who make you feel at home. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for not only comfortable accommodation, but also a warm atmosphere and people who really care about your well-being. It was an unforgettable stay!

1. Wonderful family home that offers a homestay. Nice friendly n warm welcoming hosts. 2. Room was cozy n comfy enough and excellent value for the money 3. Good homemade breakfast of roti n sambol along with fruits n black tea. Was sumptuous and tasty 4. Location is great. 150mts off the road in a quite place right next to a stream. The Sigiriya Rock Fortress entrance is just 10-12mins walk from the place. All the pubs/cafes etc are 200mts away.

1. There was no hot water. Geyser wasnt working 2. No wifi though booking.com said it had one.

Wash Room needs to improve in terms of lighting and shower.

Amazing place!! Super nice family and dogs. We also rented scooter from them. They woke up because of us to take us to Pisurangala. We recommend it to everyone. Amazing breakfast and dinner. Also great location. Thank you very much - we felt like at home

- nice family - offered great sri lankan breakkie - checked on me before arriving and offered to pick me up from the closer city - offered for cheap money scooter and tuktuk to sunrise hike to the rocks - they offered us cake and so on to try

- no clean room - lots of ants - sometimes a bit uncomfortable because also family businesses get into arguments

The family was very kind and helpful with anything I needed. I felt very welcome. They also have tuktuk service and give you fair prices. The food was very delicious and homemade. Loved the rice and curry and the breakfast of roti, coconut sambal and dhal! Room was simple but comfortable. Highly recommend!

The room and bathroom could be cleaner.
