Le Dimore dei Principi

Lovely apartment right close to the Duomo square so easy walking to all touristic sites, restaurants etc . Stylish place with frescoes on the ceilings , some antique furniture and lovely chinaware. Very comfortable and clean . Little pastries and fresh water provided as a nice gesture. Aliona was extremely helpful for check in and advice on activities in Catania.

There is a bar below which is quite noisy until late . Earplugs recommended.

Posizione molto comoda, ambiente pulito.

La stanza è piacevole ma il nome "Dimora dei Principi" fa pensare a un ambiente molto elegante, e invece si entra in un palazzo degradato, prima di accedere alla camera. Anche per questo, il prezzo risulta eccessivo. La camera è collocata in una strada trafficata e un po' di rumore si avverte, malgrado i vetri antirumore.

Het appartement was prachtig en zeker de fresco op het plafond is werkelijk prachtig. De locatie is perfect met alle bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand. Het appartement is schoon en ruikt heerlijk. Er is van alles aanwezig is het appartement, koffiezetapparaat met voldoende koffie voor meerdere dagen, een keukentje om eventueel zelf te koken. Ook is er een wasmachine die ook kan drogen. De eigenaresse is aardig en verteld een stukje historie over het appartement. Bij aankomst lagen er ook lekkernijen, deze waren heerlijk! Wij heben de barretjes om de zijstraat niet als vervelend ervaren, er komt veel remoer vanaf. Wij vonden het fijn om een barretje te bezoeken en lekker dichtbij ons appartement te zijn.

Je kan de wasmachine alleen aanzetten als voor langere tijd in het appartement bent, je kan deze niet laten draaien en de deur uit gaan vanwege de sleutel die uit het contract moeten halen als je weg gaat, en dan gaat ook de elektriciteit uit.

Our stay at Dimore dei Principi was outstanding, thanks to Aliona. From the very beginning, communication was smooth and professional. When we arrived, she took the time to show us everything and even shared the fascinating history of the house, which made our stay feel very special. The apartment was spotlessly clean. Aliona is a fantastic host who really cares about her guests. Highly recommended!

It is a beautiful place, well decorated, equipped and taken care of. The small things makes a big difference - the good cafe and the sweets. The host is available via WhatsApp all the time. The location is fantastic, a few steps to the plaza Duomo. The bus from the airport stops very near as well. We used very nice and good value car rental around the corner 🚗AUTONOLEGGIO CATANIA RENT CAR🚗 di Daniele Orlando. Highly recommended. It is one floor up by stairs. If for any reason you need an elevator, keep this in mind. There is a bar downstairs that is a bit noisy some days. If you are a light sleeper, take earplugs. It’s a minor thing though.

We had only one pair of keys and the light goes down when the keys are not inserted. So you are either all out or all in (or you are creative as we were)

Very pleasant stay, host is amazing. In very good location to best parts of the town. Very comfortable bed .
