The host of apartment was absolutely amazing! Apartments are clean and in a good location. We had everything we needed and spent a good time

More than an excellent place. Clean, fresh, tidy. Perfect down to the last detail. Easy check-in. The hosts are incredibly kind and courteous. They had prepared pleasant surprises for us upon check-in. The hostess Alex kept communicating with us and giving us useful advice for our stay not only in Catania, but also in general. We left with the feeling of a new friendship, even though we never met in person. I give it a 10 out of 10 and I highly recommend Alex's place. We will definitely be back again.

It was not problem for us, but there might be some noise outside during the weekend that might affect people with very light sleep

The house was incredibly clean. When you enter the house, you are greeted by the smell of soap. It is very relaxing. Alex's wife had baked very nice cakes and cookies for us. The housewares are very tidy and very useful. You can find everything you need. It is obvious that it was a house prepared with great care. The location of the house is very central, close to everywhere, you can walk to anywhere you want. The owner was very helpful. When we contacted, he made very helpful suggestions for all our questions. Every suggestion was perfect. It is clear that they are not doing this job for money. They do it with love. I highly recommend staying in this house. We stayed as three people and were very comfortable. You can find all your needs, including tea, coffee and water, in the house. We would like to thank our host Alex and his wife very much. They made sure that we had a wonderful holiday in Catania.

If you would like to be near Catania’s Opera House, there is no better choice unless the Opera House starts opening up it boxes for rooms!

We loved our stay here! Everything was just perfect! We had everything we needed even more. There was a homemade tart that was so delicious! We tried the best coffe that was left for us. The place was clean and close to the tourist places. One of us sleept on the sofa and it was also comfortable. The hosts also told us where we can eat. We are planning to go back to Catania to hike Etna and we won't want to stay at any other place.

I wanted to say the location but in the end it were the hosts Ale and Amalia. Had phone contact with the host on all 3 days I was there but we met in person on the second day. On departure it felt like leaving 2 very dear friends. The hosts left us freshly picked oranges - from their own garden - on the porch during our stay. We had coffee together, Ale helped with with some shopping, driving me around. We even had contact when I was back home. Lovely couple! Oh and did I mention the freshly baked crostata pie we found when we arrived? Amalia made both the jam and the crostata. Delicious! The location was great, next to Teatro Bellini and all attractions within 1 km. The appartment was very clean and nicely decorated. Will miss Ale and Amalia and cannot wait to go back there.

This was the best place we have ever stayed and we are travelling a lot! I had no doubt to put 10 in every respect: - very kind and attending host - spotless clean apartment with top level of facilities - perfect location 300m from the old city, yet at very open and accessible area

Everything was great, from the location, to the hospitality of the owner. Really good value for money! We enjoyed our time in Casa vacanze al teatro, and we definitely book it again when we visit Catania next time.
