The vibe

Loved the location and the room. Air con was great in both the rooms most importantly.

Pool didn’t seem to have been cleaned until the day before we checked out. The location wasn’t easy to find but finding it being next to what the duck hostel instead was much easier than directions given or address. We were really disappointed during the stay my jewellery box with a gold necklace from a passed relative went missing as did a second necklace and the box itself containing a necklace with my dogs ashes in it. While I appreciate the staff looked it was most certainly there before cleaning arrived on the day before check out. So either the place is not as secure and was not locked after cleaning being the front gate or someone had sticky fingers. Will not stay or recommend based on this.

Had everything a young family needed. Safe boiling, cold or room temp water on hand. Great pool and living area. The owner was beautiful and kind on WhatsApp. They left our 2 yr old some toys out to play with and they even offer to get her some fresh milk as we got in late. Great hosts.

The second bedroom only had access from outside. Not from the main living area which wasn’t good for a young family but would be great for two couples or something similar. There was a lot of building work next door. Not these guys fault but constant hammering all day. Loud music sometimes, which we didn’t really mind but other people around often yelled at the construction workers. They’d also sometimes have a fire and smoke would blow in the Villa. Due to this new building I think privacy could be a problem in the future too. There was often workers looking at us in the pool. I’d assume there would be windows over looking soon. Just bad timing for us but did not ruin the stay at all. Just like all over this area of Bali, there’s construction always happening

it was exactly as the photos promoted. pool was very blue and clean, as well as the rooms. staff were super accomodating and friendly and always kept us updated through whatsapp and made sure our needs were attended to.

the only qualm was that the living room aircon was not working when we came and there was a strange smell from 1 of the rooms. but after we informed the staff, they quickly came to help us fix this issue so it really wasn't a huge deal. they were very accomodating for us to check out late as well.

We really liked that it was comfortable and very close to the clubs, shops and beaches in Canggu, but was still tucked away and no noise. We loved the outlay of the villa

We had the staff walk in to our villa without asking or saying anything and we had just gotten out of the shower and the towels were on the other side of the room. We felt very uncomfortable and didn’t think it was a respectful or considerate thing to do.

The furnishings were new and very tasteful. The swimming pool was a great size and well designed. The addition of a chilled water dispenser, a great entertainment set-up with Netflix and Prime, and comfortable day beds in the rooms were perfect for a family of four. The location was also good being close to some great restaurants and shops, yet far enough away from the traffic of Canggu. It was a sanctuary of peace.
