Modern Studio in Bracknell with free Parking

That the host assisted me with my questions quickly.

The ground floor apartment i was assigned had No windows, and was extremely hot. The apartment is an old office building that had been converted into apartments.... With no windows and no aircon, I had to request they bring a fan otherwise i would have not been able to stay in the apartment as it was far to hot.... The apartment also had business blinds and no curtains meaning that when closed you could still see through out towards the main entrance hall where people walk in and out throughout the day/night.... The light at the main entrance hall also stays on permanently so sleeping in the room was very uncomfortable.

Location was great and there was excellent wifi. Also, access to the building was relatively easy and independent if you have your codes. It seemed secure as well

The apartment I stayed in was smelling. The couch and the pillows on the bed smelled like rotten eggs and then as a serviced apartment, not even a change of sheet nor towels for once in the entire 35 nights and even for an extended stay. Also, I payed for an early check in and was given wrong key codes on arrival. I had to leave my things at a kind neighbour's to rush for work and did not get refunded even after a promise of 5 working days. This was finally deducted from my charges for the extra nights I needed to stay back and complete business. The past few weeks have been like 'staying stuck in a bad relationship' because there was no refund and my luggage wasn't light. Even when I requested for a change of room due to some complaints, nobody got back to me to find out if I was feeling better till I left.

The suite was clean overall.

1. Instructions provided had errors. Picture of the lockbox was not well identified - trial and error with the other posted lock boxes. 2. Access code to the main door was correct but instructions did not state that you had to add a "*" before and after entering the access code eg *1234*. We had to ask residents entering the building on how to enter the code. 3. Sound travels between apartments. There was a neighbour who consistently could be overheard until midnight each night. 4. Had to email host for WiFi instructions and password as document provided did not include this information. 5. TV cannot access local TV stations. 6. Minimal soap / shampoo provided.

Everything is perfect as pictured, but the refrigerator is not very cold.

Location

No barriers to carpark,nor secure access to our wing,or hot water on day 1. Plates too big for dishwasher .one inch of fairy liquid. Ventilation system air smelt of cigarette smoke..one teaspoon only.

The apartment was clean spacious with everything we needed. Fantastic location to the train station The parking and self check in was very easy.

The room was extremely hot even with all windows opened. A fan would have been nice. The kettle also had a stale water smell.

Small, old towels. Strange tv channels. Odd furniture layout.

Location was perfect for our visit to ascot races

No aircon in the apartment or windows that opened to allow any air into the apartment . The heat was quite unbearable and it’s only just the beginning of the British summer. I understand that air-con can be an expensive purchase for owners but this apartment really does need it. The host has tried by supplying a large fan but unfortunately the noise generated by that just adds to the poor nights sleep. There are no curtains at the windows in the apartment, just vertical blinds which let in a lot of light from the apartment foyer which is directly below the windows. The lights are understandably on all night obviously for the safety of other residents, although Curtains would be a welcome addition to the apartment.
