The Bliss Hostel Kandy

Room is good and clean. Staff is also good.

I didn't get the wifi. I forgot to ask also. I tjink Some service like Hutch is not working (no signal) in that area.

I had a great stay at The Bliss. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the environment was peaceful, and the owner was very friendly and helpful. It’s a perfect place to relax in Kandy. Highly recommended!

Das Hostel liegt etwas außerhalb von Kandy, ist aber gut zu erreichen. Die Hosts sind sehr nett und stehen für Fragen und Empfehlungen bereit. Man kann schön draußen sitzen und insgesamt gibt es eine gepflegten Garten und auch die Zimmer sind sehr ordentlich, wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Am Abreisetag konnten wir auch unser Gepäck etwas länger vor Ort lassen und somit nochmal bisschen sightseeing machen.

I had the pleasure of staying at The Bliss Hostel recently, and I can honestly say it exceeded all my expectations—especially considering how unbelievably affordable it is. The price is surprisingly low for the quality you receive, comparable to places that charge much more. The hostel was exceptionally clean, and there were plenty of facilities available. I especially appreciated the well-equipped kitchen where guests can easily make their own coffee. The hot water worked perfectly, and the water pressure was excellent, which made the stay even more comfortable. What I loved most about this place is the peaceful and free atmosphere. It’s incredibly relaxing—especially in the evenings when all you can hear is the soothing sound of birds. It’s truly a place where you can unwind. To be honest, I never expected it to be this good before arriving, mainly because I had seen a few negative comments earlier. But I feel like those issues have been addressed, because my experience was nothing short of amazing. A special mention goes to the lady I spoke with—she was extremely kind and helpful. She even guided me over the phone with clear directions until I reached the location. This stay turned out to be the perfect relaxing end to what had been a very hectic journey for me. The sense of freedom and calm here is truly valuable. I will definitely come back again and would happily recommend this place to anyone. Thank you!🥰🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
