The Surfers Bush Cabin

We loved the cabin, everything was pwrfect

It was a beautiful bush getaway with everything we needed. Loved the fire pit and the wood fired hot tub!

During our 14 days road trip through the Western and Eastern Capes the Surfer's Cabin was the best place we stayed at. Very unique, love for every tiniest detail in design, decoration and cleanliness. Never seen any place that cute, calm and functional at the same time. A true treasure.

Secluded, therefore relaxing, all the added resources given and attention to finer detail from hosts.

The cleanliness and how everything was well organised with an information booklet that was also shared on WhatsApp. The host was very responsive. The thoughtfulness of putting together pain pills,medlemon,cotton pads,earbuds and elastoplast in case of emergencies melted our hearts. The instructions about drinking water. This was an absolute 10/10

I loved the place, The cabin was cozy, and i felt the hosts put alot of thought into putting the place togeter, Absolutely loved the hottub and the special note left on the fridge

I did not like the road we had to travel to get to the cabin, Our cars were not dropped and we thought we would be okay but i guess you need a 4x4 to get there

After an extensive search for a peaceful "bush" getaway near Jeffreys Bay, I was lucky enough to discover this charming little cabin—and what a delightful surprise it turned out to be! The online photos simply don’t capture the true beauty of this place. Every inch of the cabin has been thoughtfully designed, with attention to detail in every corner. Our stay was filled with fun and relaxation. We played board games on the deck while listening to the rain, unwinding in the hot tub, and waking up to the soothing sound of birdsong in the morning. One of the highlights of the experience, however, was the exceptional hospitality of the hosts. They went above and beyond, something you don’t always find at the more "luxury" lodges in the area. Instead of taking the 250 km drive from PE to Plettenberg Bay, we’ll now be staying closer to home, supporting local, and enjoying this tranquil haven that offers both luxury and serenity right at our doorstep. This hidden gem is highly recommended for anyone looking to escape into nature without sacrificing comfort. Thank you for a truly memorable stay—we will definitely be returning!

The only complaint is that we did not stay for two nights! Lesson learned!

Avan is an excellent host, and has really put serious thought into every detail. Beds and linen are very comfortable, and great quality towels, Nespresso coffee machine, with complimentary pods, rusks, milk etc. the hot tub works beautifully and the fire pit is a treat. The location surrounded by bush is peaceful and private, as well as secure. Every part of the cabin and outside area has been thoughtfully created to be comfortable, practical and aesthetically pleasing. We will definitely be back and recommend to friends as well!
